Still going through my old scents, and this one, Agua Brava Sea Power, is one that’s no longer available. I absolutely love clean glass bottles, especially blue or amber ones, and this fit perfectly. Seeing the light blue color, I thought it would be a ‘lighter,’ more citrusy version, but not a trace! It’s an easy-to-wear marine fragrance for all-day use in mild weather. The opening is pleasant, citrusy, and mentholated, with soft projection and floral notes in the heart. If you can find one, I’d trade you two bottles. Ideal for spring and summer, every day. Excellent value for money. Rating: 8/10

Hi everyone, hope you’re enjoying your fragrances. Let me share my experience with this discontinued EDT, Agua Brava Sea Power. It was my childhood and teenage years; I went 14 years without finding it until today. Launched in 2001, it didn’t last long, created by Jacques Polge. I’d describe it as aquatic, floral, aromatic, and soft. If a scent leaves unforgettable memories, this one did its job. The marine notes keep it clean, the flowers (jasmine and roses) add softness, and the sandalwood with musk round it out. Although it says vanilla, I don’t detect it, but I do notice an apple note that fits perfectly. It smells like something unique I don’t know. Ending this review very happy to have it back, grateful for life. Hope you have a piece that transmits something indescribable. Cheers

Blue and cheap, the queen of budget fragrances. It’s a shame they don’t sell it anymore, but I still have my 15ml bottle from over fifteen years ago.

The quintessential affordable blue fragrance. Too bad it’s discontinued, but I still have about 15 ml from the bottle I bought over 15 years ago.

I’m a huge fan of the original Agua Brava and about twenty years ago I found this Sea Power version and bought it blindly. A lot of time has passed, and my sense of smell isn’t helping much, but I remember the scent sounding like Ralph Lauren’s Polo Sport, which is also discontinued. It’s a daytime, summer fragrance that fits the classic line but with a lighter, more modern smell aligned with the fresh trends of the late nineties. Clearly a perfume that never took off in the market, which is why they threw it away.

I’m a huge fan of the traditional Agua Brava, and about 20 years ago, I found this Sea Power version and bought it blind. A lot of time has passed, and my sense of smell isn’t the best, but I remember it sounding similar to Ralph Lauren’s Polo Sport, which is also discontinued. It’s a daytime and summer perfume, following the original’s line but with a lighter, more modern aroma updated with the fresh trends of the late 90s. Obviously, it didn’t succeed in the market, which is why it disappeared.

A marine scent loaded with white flowers (jasmine), patchouli, and sandalwood. Saline, blue, aromatic, semi-ozone, and slightly sweet sensations that end with the classic bitter and sweet touch of jasmine and the wood of the traditional Agua Brava. It’s a beautiful aquatic with nostalgic touches or very peculiar vintage flavors. Although it came out in 2001, two years after Davidoff’s Cool Water, it smells older, perhaps due to the Agua Brava base, but that makes it singular and atypical among aquatics. As a flanker of a Spanish icon, it’s a must-have in any collection. Its atypical aroma is reason enough to seek it out. Once again, Mr. Polge doesn’t fail.

I remember it as quite marine; I had it around 2003 and it was good for post-gym wear. It’s discontinued, and apparently, it was replaced by Agua Brava Azul, which is different and less fresh than Sea Power.

Was it like the new Agua Brava Azul?

It was an interesting twist on the parent fragrance, Agua Brava, yes, oriented toward aquatics (like Nautica). I have the empty bottle from the last one I used and can still appreciate its scent, certainly pleasant, resistant to the strong sea breeze. A very worthy ‘blue’ fragrance. I hope it’s not discontinued either, because it’s worth having.
