Eneko
A solid EDT that has been in production since 1995. It feels like a very proper fragrance, stepping away from what we’ve gotten used to nowadays, which is a plus in my opinion. I think it can be worn in almost any season, though it might shine more in spring or autumn since excessive heat makes it evaporate too quickly. What does Activist smell like? An interesting question. My sense of smell picks out the amber and woody notes very well, but I don’t catch the rest as easily. Still, you don’t need to ignore the other listed notes, because the dynamic interplay between the amber and woods makes it highly appealing, especially for personal use and enjoyment. So, it doesn’t aim to project like a beast or invade the personal space of those around us; it doesn’t seek it, want it, or need it. It operates in a closer, more intimate segment. One of its quirks is a very metallic scent, which is quite curious, but it adds a touch of elegance and presence. As for longevity, it delivers: 2 hours of moderate-to-low projection (you can definitely smell it from your arms), then it lingers slightly on the skin before fading away completely around the 5-hour mark.
