901 Soir Tonka by Bon Parfumeur: A Warm Oriental Woody Scent

901 Soir Tonka is the latest fragrance from Bon Parfumeur, launched in 2026. Created by perfumer Corinne Cachen, this oriental woody scent blends warm and fresh elements for both men and women.

The fragrance opens with a bright trio of ginger, almond, and grapefruit. Ginger adds a spark of spiced freshness, almond brings a soft, nutty sweetness, and grapefruit gives a zesty citrus lift. The heart reveals blonde woods, nutmeg, and black pepper. These notes create a sophisticated and spicy character, with the woods providing a smooth backbone, nutmeg adding warmth, and black pepper introducing a lively kick.

This fragrance is for anyone who enjoys a warm, elegant scent with a touch of spice and sweetness. It's ideal for those who love woody and amber fragrances, as well as for people who want a perfume that feels comforting but doesn't overwhelm. It's a great choice for evening events, fall and winter seasons, and for anyone seeking a versatile but distinctive oriental scent.

It is a fragrance that lives up to its name. I consider it to be quite nocturnal and it also leans toward the masculine side, despite being initially aimed at both sexes. It has a sillage from moderate to ample. Its longevity is a little over six hours. I think the notes that stand out the most are nutmeg, blond woods, and also patchouli in the base. It offers olfactory quality. It is not repetitive. The touch of nutmeg and citrus in the opening, together with bitter almond, is quite noticeable. To be honest, it is a scent that I prefer to perceive on my husband, and for me, I would opt for something more feminine. I totally recommend it, but in my case, I prefer to smell it on men; I think it is appreciated as more virile and seductive from that side.
