Cartagena Iris is a beast at first, that clash between the bitterness of cocoa/coffee and the aromatic iris/citrus can catch you off guard, but then it settles on the skin revealing a super refined and balanced side; it’s elegant, artistic, and full of history, perfect for those seeking something complex. The opening is intense and exotic, the heart is sophisticated with that floral powder and sweet creaminess, and as it dries it leaves an enveloping base with a perfect balance of sweetness, bitterness, and natural warmth. For me, it’s a 10/10, I’ve never tried anything like this.
