To me, it smells thicker and sweeter than I expected from the notes. I imagined something more summery, but it’s a creamy, sweet gourmand that’s very pleasant and sensual. I wouldn’t rule it out for any season.
Nejma 7 Oud Line is the kind of fragrance I’d bathe in without a second thought. This beautiful fusion starts cautiously with a radiant citrus greeting featuring bergamot and green mandarin, evolving into a tropical woody blend with coconut, neroli, and a very well-dosed oud. It doesn’t smell animalic or barnyard-like; it’s so sensual and well-blended that you’d enjoy it even if you’re not an oud fan. I detect soft hints of cacao and patchouli, while the white musk leaves a very pleasant dry-down. The trail is moderate to wide, and longevity is good—over six hours on skin. It’s not overwhelming and very easy to wear. It’s unisex and one of my absolute favorites from the Nejma house. A bottled, cozy dream. I see it as suitable for any season.
For a fragrance without sugar, tonka bean, caramel, or praline… it smells quite sweet. It doesn’t get heavy or cloying, but on a scale of 1 to 10, it rates an 8 for sweetness. The opening is a bit citrusy, then it becomes very fruity and sweet, always accompanied by an oud that sometimes smells a bit dirty and at other times more distinguished.

What a find! The sample arrived via Yuniqu and I absolutely loved it. Heads up: if you’re hunting for a medicinal, intense, or even ‘fecal’ oud, this isn’t for you. The oud is there from the start, but it’s subtle, adding a woody touch with a slightly ‘dirty’ vibe from the background. It opens citrusy, then slowly reveals an irresistible coconut. That fruity-coconut blend gives it a tropical vibe, like a beach lotion, but without smelling like sunscreen; it’s more like someone wearing a potent perfume like Tom Ford’s Black Orchid, heading to the beach, slathering on the lotion, and soaking up the sun. That’s exactly what my Nejma 7 smells like! The cocoa adds a sweet touch, and the patchouli melds with the oud in that woody base. The neroli brings freshness and a light floral note. In short, a very original oud. Good performance, lasting over 8 hours on skin, moderate but constant projection. I see it as unisex, though I think it suits women more. Ideal for night or day-to-day wear in cooler seasons. Scent: 9, Longevity: 8, Projection: 7, Value: 5, Versatility: 7, Originality: 9, Overall: 9
