The Best! After a long and honest personal story: years ago I was gifted this perfume (I thought it was Animal, but it was Animale). Years passed, the relationship ended, and I searched everywhere without success. Today I found it, and applying it brought back incredible memories. It smells perfect on my skin, lasts a long time, and is unique, fresh, and elegant. It doesn’t compare to Cool Water because it has no comparison. I recommend it 100%.
The Best! A bit of backstory: years ago, at 18, my girlfriend gifted me a Fraiche (a legal clone from Mexico) that I thought was Animal, but it was actually Animale. Years passed, we broke up, and the bottle ran dry. I searched everywhere, even in the US, without success because I didn’t know there were multiple Animale lines and I preferred the others less. I tried many great perfumes, but none compared to this. Today I found it! I bought it blind on Fragrantica; seeing the floral and leather notes, I knew it was him. Upon opening it, inexplicable memories came flooding back. Review: It suits my pH perfectly and is very long-lasting. I use one drop under each arm (with my shirt on) and another on my chest, 30-40 cm away. I recommend it for daily wear, day or night, and any weather, unless you’ll be out in direct sun for long periods because the scent shifts a bit. It’s unique, fresh, and elegant. I recommend it 100%. It doesn’t suit everyone equally; it depends on your pH. I don’t like perfumes everyone knows; I want to be unique. This is my perfume. It doesn’t compare to Cool Water like some say; people always compare, but this has no comparison. Cheers.
Just bought it after reading it smells very similar to Cool Water. And it does… A very fresh scent. Seems like a clone, though I still stick with the original CW. I recommend it if you don’t want to spend what Cool Water costs, but if you can afford the real deal, much better. Don’t hesitate, Animale Azul won’t disappoint you. It smells very similar to Cool Water. Don’t let the cheap bottle or low price discourage you; the content is quality and it’s an excellent budget option. It lasts between 10 and 12 hours with a pleasant sillage that isn’t invasive. In Mexico, it cost around $15 in 2018, an impeccable quality-to-price ratio.
It smells almost exactly like Cool Water, but don’t rule it out because of the low price or the non-luxury bottle; what counts is the content, and that’s where it shines. It’s a super budget-friendly option for original fans. On my skin, it lasts 10 to 12 hours with a well-defined sillage that isn’t aggressive at first. In Mexico, back in September 2018, it cost around $15, so its quality-to-price ratio is impeccable.
Besides looking clean and elegant, it projects that fresh scent that gives off a good vibe. It lasts a long time, and although some say it smells like Davidoff’s Cool Water, Animal Blue is more sophisticated, pleasant, and easy to wear. As it dries down, it reminds me of the classic Swiss Army but with more personality and longevity. I recommend it 100%.
Ideal for spring and summer, it has an excellent dry-down that makes you want to keep smelling it. Projection and longevity are over 12 hours. I was surprised because I underestimated it due to the bottle, which isn’t very pretty. 100% recommended.
