The dry-down is more powdery: violet, rose, and cedar. It’s a persistent oriental that lasts over 12 hours, with a heavy to moderate sillage. It’s elegant, perfect for formal and evening events, ideal for winter, autumn, or cool springs, though it can be heavy in summer. Surprisingly, it reminds me of Armani Code Classic and Lapidus Pour Homme Black Extreme (both orientals), and an English forum user says it’s very similar to Lapidus Black Soul.

  I tried it in Chile and absolutely loved it: it’s elegant, has a balanced sweetness, and is very well made. Unfortunately, they don’t carry it here anymore, but if I find it, I’ll buy it with my eyes closed.
