It starts with a violet jam scent, even though it’s not listed. Then a fresh iris appears (reminds me of hidden aldehydes) alongside a mimosa, which is the dominant note for me. There’s also a slightly sharp raspberry note, similar to Flamenco but much subtler and less sweet. The overall effect is powdery and clean, but it hasn’t won me over. These purple flowers and mimosa can be hit or miss depending on the combination; in this case, it just doesn’t work for me. It’s unisex with a slight feminine lean, moderate projection, and lasts about 10 hours on my skin. Scent: 5.5/10, Longevity: 10/10, Sillage: 6.5/10, Value: 5/10, Versatility: 7/10, Packaging: 6.5/10. Would I buy it again? No, I haven’t purchased it.
It opens with mimosa, followed by iris; the rest of the notes are just background. The opening is very alcoholic, then after an hour it turns into a pleasant fresh bushy scent that lasts another hour, before finally smelling like laundry detergent. Projection is minimal the whole time. It lasts 5 hours. Not recommended.
It smells very similar to Frederic Malle’s Iris Poudre, but less aldehydic and more subtle. At first, ylang-ylang dominates with echoes of Chanel No. 5. As it dries down, the iris takes center stage. The soapy character doesn’t disappear, making it powdery, creamy, and above all, very soapy. There might be unlisted aldehydes. The mimosa lingers in the background, adding a delicate touch, while the base features a soft wood blend with a barely noticeable fruity hint. Performance is moderate: good longevity (6-8 hours) but light projection. Still, it catches in bursts for several hours. It’s unisex, perfect for everyday wear in spring and summer.
