If it’s undervalued, it’s a hidden gem, but if you don’t recommend it, it sounds overpriced. The Nitro Elixir smells like the DNA of The Most Wanted with that modern spicy sweetness, featuring a vibrant cardamom opening and a seductive amber dry-down… although only if you let it settle, because the quality dip is noticeable there. Nothing to complain about for the accessible price.
An undervalued perfume doesn’t deserve its price tag. I wouldn’t recommend it for the cost.
My first impression was very pleasant; I liked the scent. I’m a fan of the Azzaro Most Wanted line and sweet perfumes. It smells very similar to Azzaro Most Wanted at first, but as it dries down, it becomes more citrusy, with noticeable orange blossom. It’s not innovative at all, but it delivers and lasts. I doubt its total versatility; while the citrus helps, it leans sweet, so I’m unsure about summer wear. The price is fair, neither too high nor too low. 9/10

Terrible quality. It reminds me of Bharara fixatives, super plastic. The opening is rich, but it dries down in 2 minutes and up close smells like petrochemical plastic. I can’t explain it, but the quality ruins everything. It seems people value a loud perfume over a refined one; they want to walk like a walking bomb… if it smells good, they don’t care, they just want something pleasant that lasts. I don’t recommend it. I prefer Armaf Dubai Midnight, which hits the same vibe but wins easily on quality.
It starts like the Nitro Red DNA but with orange instead of watermelon and lots of cardamom. After 20 minutes, the YSL Myself vibe kicks in with the bitter orange blossom very present. By the one-hour mark, the ambergris, tonka bean, and amber make it feel more masculine than the original. I still prefer Nitro White, but this one stands out more and gets me more compliments.
I own both Myself and they only resemble each other 50% at the start; afterwards, they are completely different. It becomes way too sweet, nothing like what everyone says. People also say it smells like L’Absolu, I just tried it in-store and am about to buy it to have all three, but if you think this smells like either of those, it doesn’t. Maybe a tiny bit at the start, but then it’s very sweet and none of the collection is like that. I bought it and resold it in two days.
It’s 80% similar to Azzaro Parfum, but I think Azzaro is better crafted. Honestly, I didn’t like it, I’ll be selling it.
Just arrived and immediately seduced me without being overwhelming, just alluring. It’s fresh, citrusy, with a sweet touch at the start, then opens up with floral and juicy fruit notes. The scent is intense and lasts 7 to 9 hours, just like the other Nitros. It reminds me of my Hawas Elixir, but without the mint or dark chocolate, and some say it smells like ‘Bad Boy’ haha. Versatile for dates or parties, but don’t wear it if it’s over 30 or 35 degrees.
I own both Myself versions, and while it resembles Myself EDP a bit at first, after 50% of the wear it diverges completely; it doesn’t smell like anything alike. It becomes way too sweet, nothing like what everyone claims. They also say it smells like L’Absolu, but I tested it in-store and found no similarity, maybe a tiny bit at the start, but then it’s extremely sweet and none of the collection is like that. I bought it and resold it within two days.
Nitro Elixir is the perfume people ask me about most often; apparently, women love this DNA. I consider it very versatile, with good projection and a 7-hour performance, a 10/10.
Smells like absolute beast mode compared to Azzaro Most Wanted Intense. I made the mistake of not checking the similar scents section before buying—I always do that first. I grabbed two bottles of Most Wanted since it’s my forever fragrance and it was on sale xD. But watch out: Nitro Elixir is sweet, leaning into chocolate and caramel. Perfect for cold weather. It nails that praline note everyone talks about. The orange is there but very subtle, and the bergamot is almost unnoticeable. It’s not fresh like many claim. Another great addition to my collection for the colder months.
I haven’t tested it against Myself to check the similarity, but on its own, it smells amazing and people ask about it. The bergamot really shines through. Longevity is a strong point, which is rare for fresh citrus fragrances. I’ll test Myself later to see if they match, but I recommend this one blindly. It’s my fourth Nitro (I already had White, Red, and Red Intensely) and I love them all. My ranking: 1 Red, 2 Elixir, 3 White, 4 Red Intensely.
You have to look past the social media reviewers… People smell a tiny bit of orange blossom and already think it’s a clone of MySLF.
