What am I smelling? Another crown of glory? It deserves to win any international taquito award, bringing another trophy home. It’s impressive how they captured the soul of tobacco and tamed it to deliver one of the best domestic niches I’ve tried, with its own personality. If elegance had a scent, it would be Iris Tabac: the creamy, buttery iris (nothing like a lady’s smell) opens the doors, then enters a earthy cardamomo that shouts ‘I’ve got merit here’ before giving way to the protagonist, tobacco. But watch out, Mr. Tobacco, that sharp scent that slaps reality in the face and makes you reflect on what’s happening right now. It reminds you that success is within reach, in a bottle, boosting your self-esteem and teaching that success and elegance aren’t about money or clothes, but your personality and mindset. Thanks Nina and Moset for this lesson in a bottle; you never fail. I ran to buy it because they only made 215!
A natural force arrives in #argentina🇦🇷 thanks to @mosetparfums and their new #Iristabac, a jewel blending iris and tobacco with top-tier materials from perfumer @nina.lamaison. So far, it’s one of the house’s best. Following Libra, Aruba, and the charming L’iris, this is a prime example of modern masculinity and elegance—a hidden gem. A serialized, limited run defines this Argentine house; their few notes say more than they seem. The opening explodes with mandarin, yielding to spicy cardamomo, quickly unveiling the communion between that spice and the clean, powdery, warm iris of L’iris. This prelude gives way to the star: an absolute dry tobacco with a sweet, almost honeyed touch, finishing gloriously with cardamomo and the iris from the heart. Performance is excellent—7 hours with a trail for the first 2, maybe 8 if the weather allows. Ideal for special occasions or night outs, perfect for autumn-winter or mild days. Notes: Cardamom, Iris, Tobacco.
