Meh, I know Parfums de Marly isn’t famous for innovation; it’s basically a house of dupes, and this one’s no exception. It’s not a bad perfume, but it’s nothing new. They don’t innovate and offer nothing interesting. You can tell the quality is there, but in my collection, it’s redundant. It reminds me of Althair, Mercedes Benz Club Intense, and even YSL’s Nuit de L’Homme—the same spiced vanilla DNA, with just a touch of that “waxy” tangerine note added on.
Blind buy (major mistake). Pleasant scent, safe, nothing new on the horizon. I was super surprised by the projection. It’s skin-level from minute one. I’ve worn it for two hours, and the longevity doesn’t promise much. Perfectly unisex. Between Castley and Eragon, these PDM scents keep me happy.
I just tried it at Nordstrom in Texas and honestly, I didn’t like it much. I don’t know, it’s just a weird combination of notes that really didn’t convince me. But it is the most potent of the three new ones. You can test it in-store now, and if you buy it, they’ll ship it to you on November 1st. Sillage 8/10, smell 5/10, longevity 8/10.
