It’s the quintessential barn-wood oud scent: citrusy, penetrating, and invasive. Not for beginners; it’s a bomb that lasts a minimum of 8 hours and even longer on clothes. Ideal for cold climates and open spaces—if you’re going buffalo hunting, this is perfect.
To me, it’s incredible. I enjoy it at night in temperate or cold weather, though it works year-round. While people say it’s a clone of Oud for Happiness, it’s very different; Maison Alhambra’s Infini Oud Joyness is closer. I actually prefer this Zimaya version over the original Initio. If you like green woody scents with a sweet-and-sour vibe and an oud style, this is your perfume. I guarantee no one else will smell it on you.
What you get is a dry, woody, and earthy oud with green notes, paired with rustic leather. It’s very different from Oud for Glory or Oud is Great, which have that burnt sugar vibe like Baccarat. This is my first time using it, so I can’t speak to long-term performance yet, but on my skin it easily lasted 8 hours. I’ll test the skin projection after maceration (if it even needs it).
This smells like Pinocchio when he grew up and started wearing leather jackets (he was already smoking as a kid). That’s all… greetings!
