This is a super cozy perfume, perfect for cold days where it truly shines. It starts with cardamom and allspice, a spicy and aromatic touch that grabs you instantly. Then comes caramel and cedar, a blend that adds warmth and sweetness, almost like a hug. Finally, the musk stays soft, slightly powdery and clean, with vanilla and amber giving it depth. It’s perfect for staying in with hot chocolate and a blanket, listening to the rain. Totally evocative, very similar to Maison Margiela’s By the Fireplace, with that warm charm that hugs you from start to finish.
I think it’s very pretty; the longevity is good, but on my skin it stays quite soft. I detect a white flower that isn’t listed in the notes. It’s softly sweet and easy to wear.
It’s sweet without being cloying. It lasts about 7 to 8 hours with good projection at one meter. It feels like a delicious caramel-vanilla blend, with just the right dose of sugar to get compliments without being annoying. It’s versatile, but more recommended for nights, winter, and autumn. Totally recommended, especially because the bottle deserves a spot in the center of your living room.
