I bought it because the listing said it was for women, but I’ll have to dig deeper. Upon arrival, it felt more masculine to me. I like unisex scents, but I wouldn’t wear this; it just feels too male. It smells great though—citrusy, fresh, and clean. When I first checked the retailer’s website, it clearly stated it was a men’s fragrance.

Honestly, I don’t like it at all. The opening smells like floor cleaner. It settles down after Enedina, but I never thought a citrus would repel me until now. It does project well, but all I smell is lemon detergent.

In the citrus family, there’s a category I believe is the least loved: aromatic spiced citrus. Unlike Mediterranean citrus, this incorporates florals and can come off as synthetic and aggressive (hence why many smell like detergents), though there are well-crafted examples like Bond No. 9’s Eau de New York. I think 9 AM is also well-made despite the negative comments, even if it has that synthetic edge. It’s unisex with good performance (like all the 9 Afs). It should never be the first choice for those seeking this type of fragrance, but if you can’t drop $150 on Eau de New York, this is a great option without being a dupe. I insist, only for lovers of aromatic spiced citrus.

Revitalizing, lively, fresh, and dynamic. It makes you feel positively energetic, cheerful, and happy. I wish the day had that sun at maximum expression to highlight this perfume masterpiece.

Given the beast that 9PM was, I assumed 9AM would be the daytime equivalent with more appropriate notes. First off: this fragrance doesn’t compare to 9PM’s performance; it lasts an hour and a half projecting, then by the fourth hour it clings to the skin like a nail and grime. On the scent, the opening is sweet, citrusy, and powdery, with plenty of tangerine and green apple. It reminds me of an apple pie. The drydown becomes subtler, and that charming citrus aspect diminishes considerably, shifting more toward lavender. Would I recommend it? No, there are much better citrus scents for daytime. It feels like a masculine unisex; a woman couldn’t wear it, yet you’d have to be a somewhat refined and feminine man to pull it off. The price is a steal: 100ml for $40 is brutal. However, it’s a good versatile option for mornings, going to the office in summer, and smelling good; it’s an inoffensive perfume that does its job. 6/10.

Lasts about 8 hours, has a moderate sillage, and is super unisex, perfect for late spring/summer with just a few sprays. I keep thinking it smells like snow cones from a carnival. It’s sexy, not overpowering, fresh, and different… I absolutely adore the EDT. Over time, I sensed it was very masculine, yet I always got compliments. On my skin, the masculine notes come out more; I’m usually more into feminine, citrusy, and aquatic scents.

You smell the mandarin and pink pepper at first, something revitalizing for the morning; then it becomes more musky and powdery, with that typical synthetic apple from Afnan. I feel it’s unisex, for more mature and well-dressed people. It doesn’t bother anyone and is great for saving money. I grabbed it on sale. Lasts about 4-5 hours, I’m letting it macerate to see if it improves like 9PM which is more of a bomb.

On my skin, it seems to not last long; yesterday I sprayed 10 times and it seemed like no one noticed it or it didn’t project as much as others I’ve used. It’s good but I don’t recommend buying blind; it’s not as beastly as they paint it.

I recommend buying blind, very pleasant smell, great sillage, and a laughable price. I have expensive designer and niche perfumes that don’t last anything, but this one does. I loved it and something important: it’s a morning perfume and I was surprised by how well it works in the heat.

A perfume that surprised me with its evolution. It starts fresh with a juicy, clear mandarin, accompanied by cardamom that opens up excellently. After a few minutes, the pink pepper and green apple make it spicier without losing freshness, becoming sexier. When it dries down, it turns more woody, slightly spicy, and floral, where I finally felt the rose lightly. On my skin it lasted about 3 hours projecting and 8 hours close to the skin.
