Musked roses: This is the perfume that flatters me the most. My husband gave it to me; I wouldn’t have chosen it myself, but it suits me incredibly well, and people can’t stop telling me I smell good (something that doesn’t happen with my usual favorites). It smells quite synthetic to me, but it’s lovely, fresh, and perfect for daytime wear in any season. The bottle is gorgeous. Would I buy it again? No, I prefer other scents.
Very feminine and romantic. Smells like fresh morning roses, with a certain pear sweetness and ambrette musk that gives it a youthful touch. Ideal for warm temperatures, but also works well all year round at work with a stylish casual look: jeans and t-shirts. I don’t see it as a night scent; it lacks the power to stand out, but it’s wearable during the day with radiant sun, where it shines in all its glory. It’s soapy, clean, and pleasant. Plus, it has good prices at perfumeries.
A very feminine and romantic fragrance. Smells like fresh morning roses, with a synthetic sweetness of pear and ambrette musk that gives it a youthful touch. It’s perfect for warm days, or for wearing all year at work with jeans and casual t-shirts. I don’t see it for evening. It lacks the power to stand out, but it is wearable on sunny days, where it truly shines. It smells soapy, clean, and pleasant. Plus, it has good prices at perfumeries.
I absolutely adore this perfume. It dethroned my favorite for years, the Paris Hilton one (clarifying that they don’t smell the same). I perceive it as very youthful, yet elegant, even sexy. The bottle is beautiful; it’s fresh, sparkling, and invigorating. I love it.
I love it! Fresh roses and pear. Very sweet and romantic. Ideal for spring. It reminds me of Estée Lauder’s Pleasure but softer.
Especially Escada: After receiving it as a gift, it was my go-to for years when I wanted something cheerful and romantic. After getting closer to niche perfumery and changing my tastes, I still have a soft spot for this scent. Its opening is a fruity rose driven by the pear. On my skin, it leaves a clean scent, a slightly sweet rose with a peppery touch; it’s synthetic but pretty. It’s carefree and fresh, ideal for daytime in spring and summer. It has moderate sillage and lasts about 3 hours on my skin, which is hard to overlook. Now that I just used it, I wonder if I’d buy it again, and I think not. I wish it would return to my collection, but its longevity is very short. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 4/10, Sillage 7/10, Value 6/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy again? Probably not.
I knew this fragrance since I was little and dreamed of owning it. It’s been on the market for years, and I never heard good reviews, so I tested its performance on my skin. Without a doubt, I love its opening: it smells soapy, fruity, fresh, and very clean, a perfect sweetness. It didn’t seem powerful to me, but it maintained its longevity right after application for up to 5 hours. Then, I was left with the smell of Raid mosquito tablets… close to my skin, it lasted until the next day. I like it; I feel it’s very versatile, fresh, informal, and youthful. It doesn’t last long, so I’d only buy it if there was a very good deal.
I like Especially Escada; I’m a rose lover, but I feel here they aren’t handled with elegance or delicacy. That initial pear note, hmm, I don’t like it at all. The good thing is that it doesn’t last long because the rose comes in immediately, but it’s not a fresh rose; I feel it’s a bit sweet, and after 5 minutes, the aquatic notes appear. Sorry, but far from giving freshness, when fused with that note, the perfume smells like floor cleaner. That part I like, but I trashed the perfume hahaha. That’s the feeling it gives me, and unfortunately, it turns into a cheap perfume. I don’t know who came up with combining pear, roses, and aquatic notes; it’s sacrilege. Better to end my review here because I start remembering vividly why I bought the lighter version after this, and I get really angry at Especially Escada.
Unfortunately, on my skin the rose isn’t the protagonist as other reviews say, and I would have really liked it to be, because I’m a loyal lover of the queen of flowers. It’s a fresh scent with a clean effect; I don’t detect any of the declared notes. As I mentioned, I would have wanted the rose to stand out, but it didn’t. It was good to try, but I wouldn’t buy it again. Also, on my skin, the sillage and longevity are almost non-existent.
One of the most delicious perfumes I’ve ever tried. On me, it smells like fresh roses, clean like just out of the shower, and the best part is that where I live, I’ve never heard anyone else wearing it. I love it!
To me, the rose smells like fabric freshener, clean. It’s not an unpleasant smell, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
Too much rose; on me, it smells like a fabric air freshener. It’s not an unpleasant smell, but I wouldn’t buy it again…
Smells like rose and pear, fresh and fruity. I would never have bought a rose perfume, but this one is different: it has a fruity touch without being cloying. As someone else said, it’s the rose perfume for young people.
It’s feminine and flirtatious, smells good, but for me the rose is excessive. It’s for young women, not that typical ‘old lady’ scent. I like it, I wouldn’t buy it myself, but if someone gifted it to me, I’d wear it.
Too many roses for my taste. I’m not into florals and I only used this gift once because the scent bothered me :/
I was looking for a fresh rose and it seemed too sweet 🙁
Sweet and citrusy, an explosion of energy. I liked it… but a bit overwhelming for my taste.
It’s rich but not very persistent. Someone gifted it to me and I wouldn’t buy it again; it doesn’t feel like a very personal fragrance.
I bought it based on the reviews and I LOVE IT!!! On my skin, the rose and pear stand out, with aquatic notes and ylang-ylang in the base. Although it’s sweet, it doesn’t turn caramel-like like Escada does for me. It’s fresh, floral, and has a delicious sweet touch. So far, it’s my favorite from the brand.
I bought it because of the reviews and wow! I love it. On my skin, the rose and pear dominate, with an aquatic and ylang-ylang base. The best part is that, although it’s sweet, it doesn’t turn caramelized like it usually does with Escada on me (they’re sugar bombs on my skin!). It’s fresh, floral, and with a delicious sweet touch. So far, it’s my favorite from the brand, BY FAR.
I want it too, girls. I tried it recently and was blown away; I expected something super fruity like the regular Escadas, but Especially Escada is intense for the house. From the start, fresh, youthful roses, nothing soapy or powdery. They’re softly musky roses, acidic, fresh, wet, muuuy coquettish. It’s linear, and the ylang-ylang gains strength with the ambrette musk. I didn’t detect the pear specifically, just a non-specific fruity background, but I’m sure the pear softens the rose petals. It makes me feel coquettish, sexy, and mischievous. It’s not just for the young; women of all ages can wear it. Average longevity, but the projection and sillage are excellent.
My sister wears it and it smells exquisite, although unfortunately it reminds me of laundry detergent. Apart from that, it has a somewhat classic, even ‘sexy’ scent, I don’t know why. It can be worn during the day with few sprays and also at night.
It’s a special fragrance, fresh and floral, youthful, with a rose scent and a distinct sweet touch compared to most Escada perfumes. It lifts your spirits and is great for day or night. I gifted it to a friend and she loved it so much I ended up wanting to keep it for myself. Age doesn’t matter; if you have a young spirit, go for it.
It’s a special fragrance, fresh, floral, and youthful, smelling of roses with a different sweet touch than most Escadas. It lifts your spirits, suitable for day and night. I gifted it to a friend and she loved it. Age doesn’t matter; if you have a young spirit, go for it.
I want one too, girls, I tried it and was very surprised. It doesn’t smell like those super fruity Escadas; it’s intense but keeps a young, fresh spirit. From the start, you get fresh, youthful roses, not soapy. They are subtly musky, acidic, wet, and very flirtatious. It’s linear and the ylang-ylang gains strength with the ambrette musk. I didn’t distinguish the pear exactly, but there’s a fruity background that softens the petals. It makes me feel flirtatious, sexy, and mischievous. It’s not just for young people; women of all ages can wear it. The longevity is average, but the projection and sillage are excellent.
I know it’s cheap, it’s for young girls, and my students absolutely love it. But you know what? I couldn’t care less. It’s amazing and I want it, I want it NOW!!
