Wow, what a powerhouse of a fragrance. The scent is intense and totally throws me off. It feels aquatic, spicy, with a subtle sweet undertone that’s hard to pin down. It reminds me of Linari’s Mare Pacifico: starts with bitter orange, cypress, and ginger. That initial burst is confusing because I don’t get that boozy note everyone mentions. As it dries down, the top notes fade and white pepper, cinnamon, and something I’d call green tobacco leaf—real leaf, not sweet pipe tobacco—step forward. It’s more complex. Great aroma with generous longevity and projection for the first two hours, then it wraps you in a pleasant, comfortable personal bubble. Not dense or heavy, but neither fresh and summery; I love that duality. Perfect for spring and autumn, a composition with serious character. In my opinion, it’s unisex, just a touch more masculine-leaning, but totally wearable by anyone. I picture it on the Mediterranean coast, enjoying a fine wine and a cheese board on a Greek building’s balcony. Elegant and sophisticated. Scent 9/10, Sillage 9/10, Projection 8.5/10, Longevity 8.5/10.
