For me, this is another level in perfumery. Absolutely gorgeous. It captures everything I love about the world of fragrances. In my opinion, it’s close to absolute perfection… without a single flaw. Scent, evocation, intensity, trail, evolution, longevity, bottle, packaging… I don’t think I’ve missed anything. I’m not one to recommend perfumes, but if you’re on this wavelength, don’t even think twice. An undisputed jewel made with love. And yes, in this Elixir there’s another fascinating note taken to the limit: mystery. Jaaaaaaaa.
I fell in love with this fragrance I didn’t know about and bought it this year in Paris. A great investment at a very accessible price. Although it’s unisex, it reminds me of the divine Opium from 1977, giving it a feminine and vintage side. The sweetness of patchouli (without any earthiness) and sandalwood dominate; warm and balsamic, perfect for cold days. It has excellent projection and longevity, almost like a niche perfume. A great fragrance, a little bit of the seventies.
