Princess by Vera Wang

My best friend gifted me this perfume (my first Christmas gift of 2024) in a set with a body mist. I’ll review both because they feel different. Perfume: starts with a soft, creamy white floral that quickly turns into perfumed chocolate, very pleasant and clean thanks to the guava. Ideal for any weather, but it really shines on autumn dates. Body: the chocolate shines brighter, sweet and soft, though the fruity notes come through at the end, leaving it bright. Both have moderate-to-light sillage and longevity, not invasive or spicy. I already wanted this in my collection, and it was a great surprise. Fortuna, thanks for the gift, I love you : )

Blind buy. I must confess that at first I was disappointed, but after a while it gets sweeter on me, and that’s what I fell in love with. I don’t detect vanilla, but it looks great for everyday wear.

When I read the reviews, I imagined a completely different scent. Clearly, it was a blind buy, and I’m a bit regretful; it smells more like baby powder than anything, with a slight chocolate touch. It’s very similar to Benetton Hot, which is cheaper and smells the same except for the chocolate. The vanilla isn’t noticeable. I’m regretful. The opening is a bit alcoholic, then powder with cocoa. 6.5/10 💓

What a tragedy!!!! What an ephemeral aroma!!!! When I finally found a fragrance that convinced me, its scent on my skin lasts only 2 hours. Disappointing 🙁 and on clothes, let’s not even talk about it; if it lasts 2 hours more, it still leaves much to be desired, pffffffffffff

I didn’t think I’d like it, but I loved it!!! It smells like chocolate with fruits, then water lily, tiare, and neroli. It’s very feminine, soft, pleasant, zero cloying, a well-made perfume. It smells like Damita or well, Princess; it’s very pleasant, people ask me about it all the time, but it only lasts a short while. One of my favorites!!!!

I don’t know what note makes me hate it. The chocolate and vanilla base is nice, but that initial floral note makes it feel very old and stale. It reminds me of an older lady with heavy makeup leaving an unpleasant trail. What a pity; I expected more from that tender sweetness that barely shows up.

Beautiful: caramel, chocolate, and vanilla. I love it. The bottle is cute and the cap is a fantasy crown ring. The longevity is average, but it’s affordable. In the heat, the wood, guava, and green notes come out, which is great.

The chocolate isn’t overwhelming or showy; it feels mature. I was surprised, though I wouldn’t buy it again because my city isn’t very autumnal or wintry.

Inside that childish bottle lies a restrained perfume, nothing babyish. It’s slightly chocolatey and woody, suitable for a woman not necessarily young. Very comfortable and pleasant for staying at home after a meal, like an afternoon with a blanket and tea under the last rays of the sun.

Personally, I love it. Besides the beautiful bottle, what matters is the scent. My dad gifted it to me and said, ‘It reminds me of you.’ Since then, it’s one of my favorites: sentimental, beautiful, and delicious.

I thought it would be a hit! It was on my list due to its popularity and good reviews, but trying it in-store was a disappointment. On my skin, I don’t detect vanilla, chocolate, citrus, or amber—just a strange, green floral scent, like freshly cut grass. Sorry, another ‘marketing victim,’ just like Viva La Juicy. It’s a pity because the presentation is beautiful. I don’t feel it’s youthful or something to buy blindly; it’s versatile depending on skin pH, very long-lasting, but with an overwhelming sillage that envelops you with just one spray. Unfortunately, it didn’t convince me: ‘too much fame, not enough talent.’

I like it as a transitional scent, for when I’m saturated of strong fragrances. It’s relaxing to me. It’s unpretentious, with an intimate sillage and lasts about 5 hours. It has a slightly childish vibe, a base that smells like cologne. It smells floral and chocolatey on me, delicate, fresher than sweet but with both nuances. The bottle, despite being childish, is charming. Scent 7/10, longevity 6/10, sillage 5/10, value for money 6/10, versatility 8/10, packaging 8/10. Probably won’t buy it again.

I bought the 50 ml on sale. I only knew it was sweet and unpretentious, and the cute bottle was irresistible. On the first spray, I thought, ‘I’ve ruined it’; it smelled like bad liquor. But I was patient and let it settle. It smells like vanilla and milk chocolate, with fruity touches and a floral note I can’t quite distinguish. Moderate longevity (lasted a work morning) and very soft, almost imperceptible sillage. It’s for winter afternoons. On my skin, it smells like a sweet coffee shop with fresh pastries. Nothing sophisticated, but it doesn’t need to be. If you want to feel warm and cozy on the sofa with hot chocolate in December, this is it. I wouldn’t wear it to work dates; it’s homemade and intimate. For the price I paid, I’d buy it again; it’s pleasant, but I wouldn’t pay the original price. If there’s a sale and you like sweets, go for it.

I always say perfumes have no age, but with Princess, I make an exception: it seems destined for a young, almost childish audience. The packaging gives it away; it’s designed to catch the eye of a little girl or very young teen. The scent is very sweet; defining it as a chocolate or vanilla shake is accurate, but far from cloying, it’s very light and even fresh, perfect for that demographic. I bought it for the notes and good price. It falls short on longevity and sillage; I wouldn’t wear it out except for errands. I use it as a mist for sheets and pillows; it’s super comforting and cozy for sleep. A pleasant perfume for lovers of soft, light, sweet scents.

It was the first perfume I added to my wishlist. I felt so happy and nervous buying the 50ml bottle without even smelling it. The first spray almost made me hate it: it smelled like apple cider vinegar, but in 3 seconds it changed to something pleasant. I heard the top notes, but the middle note stuck. So sweet and pleasant, discreet and delicious, with a perfect balance that makes it refined. Then, on my skin, it turns into an exquisite chocolate and vanilla aroma. It’s not my style for strong sillage; this one is discreet and cozy, the trail stays close to the skin, but I didn’t dislike it. The longevity is amazing: I put it on at 3 PM and it was still there the next noon, 21 hours! It’s majestic and not appreciated enough. Everything is sublime, from the bottle to the scent. The adorable part is that the base and cap are rings, isn’t it beautiful? Dignified of a princess. I feel special when I wear it. I recommend it for seeing your special person; melting into an embrace with that scent is a blessing. It lives up to its name. I’ll definitely buy more when this runs out. Plus, the price is accessible. Scent 10/10, sillage 6/10, longevity 10/10.
