It was supposed to be a marine festival, but it turns into an old-fashioned bar soap scent. The musk is a background actor—spectral and sharp—fading before La Toja, which bores me. What a gimmick to draw inspiration from 1920s products like Majas de Myrurgia and sell it with an elegant melancholy that doesn’t charm. To me, it smells like a dark room, a drop-leaf table, and the NODO radio in the background. A nightmare. In the end, on Osmarine, it leaves a sticky impression of a cracked wooden drawer where old cosmetics, tickets, and candies were kept—a letdown with zero marine vibe. Only close to the skin, hours later, does a weak, dry, sweetened salty note remain, not worth the effort.
