I’ve had Kingdom on my radar for almost a year, right as I started breaking my prejudice against wearing perfumes that seemed ‘for women.’ I was dying to know why it cost a fortune on eBay and what was behind that gorgeous bottle, plus reading reviews in English. When I snagged it on sale in a Facebook group, I confirmed it’s one of the most personality-packed fragrances I’ve tried. It’s luxurious, spicy, and unique; I haven’t smelled anything like it. When I read it had celery, I thought it would smell like a vegetable market, but nothing could be further from the truth. I wish it lasted longer; it’s subtle but the performance is decent. The notes are hard to distinguish, but it’s spicy and woody. It’s a gem that almost no one knows here and, unfortunately, is no longer available. By the way, the box looks like it came from ‘The Secret,’ featuring the phrase ‘Pierce My Heart Again,’ which adds a poetic and romantic touch to this masterpiece by Jacques Cavallier.
The first time I tried it, I was scared; it smelled weird. My mother-in-law gave it to her because she didn’t like it, but it works great on me—it’s incredible and different, makes me feel good. Uff, I’m head over heels. I don’t know how to define it…
