Perla Vencis
Here’s a spiced neroli where clove and black pepper are front and center. While jasmine is present, it fades into the background against the intensity of those spices and the neroli. Ultimately, it’s a blend of neroli, spices, and vetiver. I bought an 8ml decant, liked it, and will use it, but it didn’t conquer me enough to buy the full bottle. If you’re looking for neroli scents like L’Interdit, you won’t find them here: the white florals are accompanied by a lot of pepper and clove.

Super creamy white floral with a woody touch. While neroli dominates, there’s a hint of yellow floral. As it settles, the neroli becomes spicier due to the clove, without losing the creaminess of the ylang, and gains a green, woody note thanks to the vetiver. The trail and longevity are good on my skin; it projects all day, but be careful not to over-spray because the pepper stands out too much and gives me a headache. I think it’s a pretty, feminine floral, but don’t be fooled by the color: it has bite and is quite mature; I don’t see anyone under 25-30 using this. Ideal for mid-season, day or night, to dress up without being luxurious or sexy. Pleasant: 7/10 Interesting: 7/10 Versatile: 8/10 Original: 6/10

I absolutely love this fragrance; it feels super feminine and very elegant. I’m surprised it’s so unknown, even that there aren’t any reviews. It’s creamy thanks to the neroli, but not heavy enough to give me a headache—it’s soft, velvety, like a hug. On me, it develops best in good weather, like spring or summer evenings; in fall-winter (though it’s wearable), it fades a bit too quickly. The longevity and sillage are average, which is my only gripe; it’s not bad, just could be better… The bottle is also delicious, simple but very chic. I recommend it to lovers of soft florals with character and personality.

A white floral with a spicy twist, perhaps a bit dense for spring-summer but with very weak projection for fall-winter. Maybe that ‘no man’s land’ is the reason for its lack of popularity. It’s a shame because it smells rich and is well-balanced.
