My mother bought this when I was a teenager, and it smelled divine. It’s a sweet, intoxicating, intense fragrance typical of a seaside summer, but for me, it’s too much. I can’t stand it; it doesn’t just make me dizzy, it makes me want to vomit. I learned here that two people with the same blood can react to a perfume in completely different ways. It made my stomach acidic just spraying it on—what a nightmare. Although it has an interesting composition, on me it projects all the scents I hate. It’s simply vomit-inducing. Maybe I’ll change my mind when I try it again at 28 and edit this review for the final verdict.
Who on earth put basil in this? Within two seconds, it smelled like rotting lettuce on my skin… what a pity because the sweetness wasn’t bad, but those green notes… ew… a real downer. My husband gifted it to me, and I had to give it to someone else; I just couldn’t stand the rotten smell.

It smells good but lacks performance and longevity; it stays right on the skin. You’d have to reapply constantly for others to catch the scent, which is rich but poor in projection. It’s hard to find and not cheap, yet it doesn’t offer good performance.
It’s a good perfume with excellent longevity and great value. The opening is the richest part, with a fresh green vibe, then those sweet fruity notes with caramel and vanilla are very delicious—ideal for daily wear.
Escada Magnetism has the essence of the 90s and 2000s. It’s multifaceted, sweet, herbal, fruity, vanilla, and talc-like. The basil note is noticeable, which is why some unaccustomed people might find it strange. But it’s like a cocktail; mixing green notes with red fruits and sweets creates an interesting balance that gives it versatility, a spark, and sophistication. It’s a different kind of gourmand—imagine a red fruit gum with a mint filling, that’s my take. One of Escada’s best; the best part is the price. It seems discontinued since it’s not common to see it these days. If you spot it, give it a chance if you like different sweet scents.
I don’t know what to say about this blessed perfume; it’s just another one of the bunch… There are excellent perfumes at better prices than Escada. Unfortunately, the brand died a long time ago and doesn’t produce or breathe good fragrances anymore. This is simply another one that smells like fruit juice with nothing interesting, just like all the others they’ve released and every limited edition every so often… They’re not worth the price, the smell, or anything else. If you buy three Escada perfumes, you’ll think you accidentally bought the same one three times.
The first time I smelled it, I hated it because I’d never smelled something so sweet and green, and now… I can’t live without it. The more I use it, the more I like it. Sweet and fresh at the same time, a constant evolution of sweet and fresh green, one of the few gourmands you can wear even in summer. Sweet, fresh, versatile, intense, and wonderful. A fresh gourmand that isn’t intrusive yet doesn’t go unnoticed, with very good longevity. This works for all tastes, but if you haven’t liked it, it’s because you haven’t tried it more than once; the more you use it, the more essential it becomes. Great trail and longevity. 9/10
I’ve been using it since its launch, and as soon as I smelled it, it became my signature. It’s a very intense sweet aroma but not annoying or cloying—an elegant, sensual sweet scent with lots of personality. Over the years, it’s been praised by many, and even some have made it part of their daily rotation. It’s intense and long-lasting, so much so that it impregnates whoever you greet, hug, or touch. Maybe that could bother people, but I love it.
The opening smells of red berries and lychee, then moves to a floral bouquet, and the dry down is musky and caramelized. The problem is that the stages don’t overlap or blend; you smell them all separately. First fruit, then just flowers, and finally just caramel and musk, so there’s not much magic. The worst part was that I applied a lot all over my body, and it had neither trail nor longevity; I could only smell it if I brought my wrists close for 30 minutes, and by the 2-hour mark, it had disappeared.
It’s a personality-packed perfume, though it dries down to something more classic. Works great on young girls or anyone with a youthful spirit 🙂
Hard to define because the notes blend together, highlighting vanilla, berries, and currants with a cherry touch. It’s youthful, mysterious, and very sweet, lasting 4-5 hours with good projection without being overwhelming. It doesn’t smell like basil, but has a green note that balances the sweet fruits. I’d wear it in the evening or on cold days; in heat, it becomes too sweet and tiring, just like other sweet scents. It’s not childish, but very cheerful; once someone told me it smelled like a princess.
My aunt gifted me a sample years ago and I fell in love, wearing it constantly and saving the little bottle. After many years, I bought it again, much cheaper haha, and it keeps surprising me. It brings back memories and my partner adored it, so it’s an absolute yes. No regrets about buying it again.
On my skin, it reminds me a lot of Kilian Princess; I’d been wanting it for years but didn’t dare buy it because the tester in the store was in bad shape. Luckily I ordered blind because I absolutely love it. If you like sweet vanilla gourmands, you have to try this.

It has a slight unisex vibe. The box and bottle make it look like a different type of perfume, but it’s not the sweet, feminine one they usually present. It’s not a bad perfume, but don’t buy it blind; better to try it first.

After sniffing many dry sprays in the store, this one caught my attention with its opening; I felt different and was looking for something recognizable and unique. I gave it a shot, but after 30 minutes, the verdict was disappointment: it smelled like a 50-cent cologne, a mix of chewed gum and insecticide. I’m not sure if it was my complicated pH or low-quality ingredients. I love fresh and citrus scents, but for me, they only last on the bottle or right after application before disappearing so no one can smell them. That’s why I opt for strong fragrances, but this is a resounding NO.
Seductive, nocturnal, and sweet aroma. It’s like red berries with caramel, vanilla, and a touch of green leaf. It has good sillage and longevity. The bottle is seductive with that dark raspberry tone.

On August 1, 2021, I received this perfume at home and I remember it as if it were yesterday! I love it! I feel it suits my age better now; I can’t explain why, but at 46, I like it more.
I found it after a long and expensive search for my ideal perfume: Magnetism. It’s a powerhouse of sweetness and red berries with rose notes, super penetrating and intoxicating. In my country, I can get it at a good price. I suppose I’ll gradually spend the others I tried that didn’t convince me.

One of my favorite babies is the fourth bottle I own, and I always buy it again; it’s my absolute favorite. It smells sweet and fruity, not tiring. I use it only for discos because its aroma is like a pacifier with gum, it doesn’t drive me crazy. This scent makes you want to eat it; I recommend it to girls.
