Perfumes de Alexis Grugeon

Alexis Grugeon is a perfumer born and raised in Beauvais, a small town surrounded by nature in the north of France. From a very young age, he was drawn to the world of perfume, which he discovered during a visit to the Perfume Museum in Grasse at the age of nine. From that moment on, he knew that perfume would be at the center of his life.

Alexis pursued his passion for perfumery by studying at the prestigious ISIPCA school in Versailles, France. After graduating, he began his career as a perfumer assistant at various fragrance houses in Grasse before joining Firmenich, a leading company in perfumes and flavors, in 2007.

Since joining Firmenich, Alexis has created fragrances for a variety of well-known brands such as Amouage, Angel Schlesser, Avon, Cacharel, Emanuel Ungaro, Lancôme, and Michael Malul London. He is particularly interested in creating new textures and playing with contrasts, and he enjoys combining addictive ingredients to produce unexpected results.

In addition to his work in perfumery, Alexis is a triathlete and enjoys swimming, cycling, and running. He has participated in several triathlon events in France and in the New York Marathon, and he is currently training for the Half Ironman Triathlon in Miami. He believes that maintaining a balance between his work and his passion for sport helps him stay calm and focused in stressful situations. For Alexis, creating fragrances never feels like work, but rather a joy and a pleasure that flows from his deep love for the art of perfumery.
