  Smells fresh and nice; it’s a 95% clone of Drakkar Noir, though this Jafra version feels a bit darker and cooler due to the juniper. You can definitely smell the bamboo and mint. For the price, it does its job of smelling clean and having personality.

  Hey, it doesn’t sound like Drakkar Noir to me either, even though I have the new bottle. It smells more like Bulgari’s Aqva Amara. The citrus notes are cheap, but as it dries, the galbanum, patchouli, and coumarin give it a spicy kick that doesn’t work well with heat or humidity. I’d give it a 5.5/10.

  I ended up buying it, and honestly, it sounds like Lacoste Blanc to me—I’m not 100% sure, but it feels like it. It’s a good scent, though the price is high; with that money, you could get something better like Guess, Nautica, or Hugo Boss.

  I don’t know why, but to me it smells like outdated flowers or an old bouquet from church.

  Starts with raw, green bamboo, like you just yanked it from the roots with force. Then it calms down into a weird scent between church flowers and damp laundry, but only for a few minutes. Once it dries, it’s 80% identical to Miyake’s L’eau d’Issey—it’s missing the yuzu, but at 350 pesos here in Mexico, it’s insane compared to the original’s 1,000 pesos. Hope they didn’t confuse it with Drakkar Noir, because it has nothing to do with it; they’re two completely different things.
