Well, here we have juicy florals and a classic indolic jasmine. It’s a generally classic profile, not just because of the jasmine. Even though it’s lush, it fits a diplomatic frame: it doesn’t bother anyone, and no one will ask what you’re wearing, but the wearer knows these are solid flowers that save stuff from getting cloying or too hot. It has something revitalizing, a restless lift, and a natural grace that goes beyond a cologne. It’s not my favorite from the house; its camphorated vanilla with patchouli is a gem, but it’s a very faithful floral.
