I bought it blind, drawn in by the notes and tempted by the quality of Emir, which doesn’t disappoint from the Paris Corner group. It comes in a gorgeous round tin I don’t want to throw away, paired with a heavy frosted glass bottle of good quality, intense orange color, and a white cap that seals perfectly. Being high quality, it has lots of essential oil and leaves skin feeling velvety. Upon application, it surprises with a sweet, bright opening: a cocktail of ripe tangerine peels, bitter orange juice freshly squeezed, a burst of jasmine, and a huge cloud of cotton candy. It’s fresh, creamy, and enveloping—a cloud of melted candies that lasts over four hours. Then, California lime and ripe lemon sparkle alongside Sambac jasmine, while the cotton candy becomes more present and creamy. White jasmine and bitter orange blossom shine in their splendor, turning the gourmand opening into a seductive floral bouquet. It screams summer and youth. The dry down is realistic with cotton candy; even though neroli doesn’t bloom in summer, it reminds me of siestas in orange groves. It radiates joy and positivity. It projects more than 30 cm for four hours, then settles into a skin-close citrus caress, but reappears after a shower. On clothes, the neroli is noticeable the next day. It’s similar to Byredo’s Sundazed, but much more potent, sweet, airy, and long-lasting. I see it as more feminine, but neroli is unisex and could work well on men’s skin, especially in summer. Though in northern winter, I’d use it sparingly. It’s a total hit.

A cheerful, sun-drenched perfume. If you like orange gummies, this is for you: it smells exactly like those orange-flavored gummies. I love its projection and longevity; it’s quite versatile and easy to please. It’s nothing soft or skin-scented, but rather strong and full of character.

Explosive and luminous opening of juicy mandarin and California lemon, like the first rays of sun on warm skin. The citrus is fresh without being aggressive, with a summery and vibrant vibe from the very first second. In the heart, a charming blend: creamy, intense Sambac jasmine against clean neroli that recalls the breeze of blooming orange blossoms. The dry down is enveloping and addictive, with cotton candy and white musk leaving a delicate, powdery, almost sweet veil. It’s pure hedonism: joy, light, and nostalgia for an eternal summer. For those who live in the present with lightness and know how to enjoy the moment. Musically, it vibrates like ‘Three Ecuadorian Dances’ by Blanca Layana or the intimate jazz of ‘Camino a Casa’ by Lucía Pulido. In color, it’s a bright pastel orange, the sweet glow of a sunset you don’t want to leave.
