It’s a quite pleasant fragrance where I mainly detect vanilla and spices.
Tobacco, honey, tonka, and a powdery note on the skin dominate; I don’t notice cherry, vanilla, citrus, or incense, perhaps just a hint of almond. It smells like high-quality blond wood bathed in honey. Longevity is moderate and projection is weak. I like it, but given the promised notes, I expected something different.

If you’re not a fan of the brand or a collector, go for the €30 option over the €275 one; the scent quality is similar, though Kilian wins on longevity, projection, and sillage.
