A cheap perfume with great performance. It smells like Gaultier’s Ultra Male but with apple instead of pear; that note is sweet and very prominent. Despite that, it’s lighter and more wearable than the JPG version, yet it still has body and lasts quite a while. I loved it: for the price, it’s ideal for fans of sweet oriental scents. On my skin, it lasted over 7 hours, with the last hours staying closer to the skin, but for what it costs, it’s great. The trail is strong for the first hour, then drops to an aura that’s only noticeable if you get close. I see it as suitable for cold days and times, though it works in summer at night. In summary, acceptable for the small investment and highly recommended.
A cheap perfume that gives so much. It reminds me of JPG’s Ultra Male, but without the pear and with a very sweet, prominent apple. Even though it’s sweet, it feels lighter and more wearable than the original without losing body or performance. I loved it; at this price point, it’s a must-buy for lovers of sweet oriental scents. The longevity is good, over 7 hours on skin, with a softer but noticeable finish if you get close. The trail is strong for the first hour, then it settles into an aura that only those nearby can detect. I see it as ideal for cold days, though it also works perfectly in summer at night. In short, highly recommended for that small investment.
Starts strong and cloying with sweet spiced apple and a spicy kick at the beginning. Then vanilla takes control, giving that candy-like sensation you also get with its sibling Elixir, but here it truly resembles Ultra Male. I’m not a fan of that one: it cloyes, gives me headaches, smells artificial and rubbery, and lasts way too long; Ultra Male is more linear. With Nomad, it’s different: although the opening smells the same, it evolves richly and isn’t as boring. What absolutely drove me crazy was the change at the four-hour mark: in the dry-down, it smells sweet, creamy, like milk chocolate. All in all, it’s a sweet and creamy aroma with changes that make it fun. Recommended for Ultra Male fans or those who don’t like it, because after a while, it surprises with a great twist. It lasts about 8 hours, with a trail of a meter and a half for the first two hours. Ideal for temperate or cold climates, day or night, though it shines more at night like its sibling Elixir. Totally recommended purchase, both for under €10 for 100ml. Elixir is linear and impressive; Nomad is less appealing at first but has more evolution. Starts strong and cloying with a sweet, spiced apple and a spicy kick at first. Then vanilla takes over, giving that candy-like vibe you also get from its sibling Elixir, but here it truly resembles another scent: Ultra Male. I’m not a huge fan of that one; it cloyes, gives me headaches, has that artificial, rubbery tone, and lasts way too long; plus, it’s quite linear. Back to Nomad: I actually like this because while the opening and dry-down resemble Ultra Male a lot, it has development and a rich evolution over time, making it less boring and overwhelming than the other. What absolutely blew my mind was the change at the four-hour mark: in the dry-down, it smells sweet, creamy, with a strong milk chocolate sensation. All in all, it’s a sweet and creamy aroma with noticeable shifts that make it very fun. I recommend it to both Ultra Male fans and those who don’t like it, because even though it resembles the other for a while, it surprises with a great twist. The longevity is excellent, around eight hours, with a trail of about a meter and a half for the first two hours. It works well in temperate or cold climates, day or night, though it might shine more at night like its slender-bodied companion. Totally recommended, just like Elixir. Both cost less than €10 for 100ml. Elixir smells impressive; it’s linear but stunning. Nomad smells less appealing to me initially but has more evolution and dynamism. In terms of longevity, Elixir wins, but Nomad isn’t far behind; both have great trail and projection times.
