You can tell it’s the Armaf version of Terre d’Hermès, with those citrus, vetiver, and incense notes that everyone loves.
It smells like that old Lacoste in the green round bottle, the ADT for men. Very masculine, almost identical, though the sillage and longevity are a bit weaker. It’s fresh with a spicy kick that settles into vetiver at the end. Not for kids, but for guys 30/35 and up, even into their 90s. The sillage is pleasant, not overwhelming inside or out. For me, it’s neither here nor there: not a delight, but not a bomb either; I guess it depends on everyone’s skin chemistry.
Fresh and woody. The incense gives it great longevity and makes it very masculine. Since the scent is uncommon, I’m going to buy another bottle.
I bought it a month ago and it smells a lot like Davidoff Horizon. I’ve never liked the grapefruit and ginger ones, but this is well-made and has a more mature scent. It’s manly, though I wouldn’t say it’s one of Armaf’s best; there are better options.
