  • Out of all the Armaf perfumes I’ve tried, this one has the lowest performance, though it’s still good. I absolutely loved it. It’s potent with a spicy and citrusy opening (sweet, not fresh), very spicy. The citrus notes fade quickly, giving way to sweet fruits with spices, with pineapple standing out over apple, all over an almost imperceptible floral base. The dry down is exquisite: amber, tonka vanilla, and cedar… masculine, seductive, and elegant. The only downside is the longevity: it lasts about 6 hours, projects well for the first two, then moves to arm’s length, and the last hour is close to the skin. For the price, you can’t ask for more; other famous brands charge triple and perform the same. Excellent value for money. Ideal for cold or mild climates, day or night, and even in summer if it’s not too hot.

Thanks to Darkbeat, I tried another Arab house, and they continue to surprise me with their quality and scents. It’s elegant, reminiscent of Montblanc Legend but with better longevity. The pineapple and apple in Derby Club House Gold are top-notch, a clean and pleasant smell. Very versatile, perfect for day and night.

  • This 2017 fragrance (batch 232200) was an instant hit for me: a soft spicy opening with fresh lemon, drying down into a lovely pineapple-apple blend. The cedar is light and sits close to the skin in the final hours. With 6-8 sprays, it performs amazingly well in cool indoor spaces: 8-10 hours longevity with moderate projection (about an arm’s length) for the first 3 hours, then settling to a skin scent that remains noticeable until hour 10. Clothes retain the scent for 14-16 hours. In hot outdoor conditions, it drops to about 5-6 hours total. I recommend this blindly for its scent, quality, longevity, and price; it outperforms more expensive perfumes in my collection. Perfect for temperate weather (spring/fall). A safe purchase that always earns compliments.

  • This review is for a 2017 bottle, batch 232200. I loved it instantly: a very soft spicy opening with a fresh lemon note that wakes you up. As it dries down, the pineapple combined with apple is delicious, with a light cedar that stays close to the skin at the end. I’ve used it several times (6-8 sprays) and the performance is brutal: in the office or closed, cool places, it easily lasts 8 to 10 hours. The first three hours project well, with a sillage of about two meters that got me compliments. Then the sillage drops to the fifth or sixth hour, when it stays close to the skin, but I can still smell it until ten. Clothes hold it for 14 to 16 hours. In open, hot places, projection drops to about two hours, then the sillage fades and I only notice it for another hour or two, totaling 5 to 6 hours. I recommend it blindly for the scent, quality, longevity, and price; I have more expensive perfumes that don’t last as long. Ideal for mild spring or autumn climates. Definitely a good purchase and I always get compliments when I wear it.

  • This is an improved version of Montblanc Legend: more potent, fruitier, with better sillage and longevity than the original. It looks and smells elegant and formal, perfect for the office or when you don’t know what to wear. There are moments where it smells incredibly clean and addictive, alternating between gel, cream, fruits, and sweet spices without being cloying; it’s very well balanced between powdery and sweet. On my skin, it lasts almost all day, noticeable up close until noon and faintly from a distance the next day. It’s not a beast in terms of projection, but for the price, it’s luxurious: about two hours of moderate projection and another six hours at a close distance if you apply it to your neck. It’s timeless, maybe a bit warm for intense heat, but elegant for formal and semi-formal settings. Great for going out for drinks or a walk, though there are better options for clubs. I recommend it for ages 24 to 50. Rating: 7.5/10—flawless value for money. Another hit from Armaf; if you like Legend, buy it without hesitation.

  • This is an improved version of Montblanc Legend with better longevity and sillage. It’s more potent and fruity but keeps the same elegant, formal vibe, making it perfect for the office or when you can’t decide what to wear. It features gel or cream-like notes with sweet fruits and spices, balanced so it’s not cloying. It lasts almost a full day on skin (close to the skin at 12 hours, faintly detectable the next day). The projection isn’t monstrous: about 2 hours of moderate projection and 6 hours at a short distance. It’s timeless, perhaps a bit warm for heavy heat, but elegant for formal settings. Not ideal for clubs, but great for night outs or strolls. Recommended for ages 24-50, very versatile. I give it 7.5/10 for its value. Another Armaf hit: if you like Legend, buy this without hesitation.

  • This is my second blind buy from Armaf, and another disappointment. I expected more from Tag Him; I bought it for the low price and wanted to believe in the brand as a stepping stone to Club de Nuit. It’s true that it shares some distant notes with Legend by Montblanc, but it leans into a very sweet profile that strays from the original. At first, it’s unbearable, though it calms down as it dries and stops being so nauseating. The truth is, it lasts a long time and has good projection, which is a shame that such an old-fashioned scent has those qualities. It seems Armaf knows how to make things right; they just need to find a fragrance that’s actually worth it.

  • This is my second blind buy from Armaf, and unfortunately, it didn’t go well. I ended up buying another Tag-Him for its ridiculous price, hoping this time they’d finally get Club de Nuit right. It smells like Legend for Montblanc, but with a sweet twist that strips away the original charm and is literally unbearable at first. The good news is it calms down once it dries and stops being so gross. The downside is that it lasts forever and projects well, which is a shame for such a rancid smell. Armaf just needs to find a fragrance that’s actually worth it, even though I know they know how to do things well.

  • Polydistortion

Probably the cheapest perfume in my collection, but definitely not my least favorite—a real gem in terms of bottle design and aroma.

  • Snagged this back in March 2023 for 15 euros on Notino; now it’s only showing up on eBay. I agree with everyone else that it smells like Montblanc—very similar, but with better projection and longevity. It’s quite linear and doesn’t evolve much, but I absolutely love it. It’s an elegant, formal scent, perfect for dressing up. Just like there are casual, fresh fragrances, this one feels a bit more mature, ideal for people over 30. Feels high-quality despite the low price and performs well. Scent: 7/10 Sillage: 5/10 Longevity: 8/10

Although it’s linear and lacks much evolution, I absolutely love it: an elegant, formal scent, like being impeccably dressed.
