Thanaya is the new 2024 launch from Elixir Attar, chasing the leather concept but without those familiar quinoline and molecule combinations. With a ton of natural ingredients, they’ve recreated a skin scent you’ve never felt before, with oud and castoreum taking the lead. The prominent deer musk adds a velvety warmth, and paired with the castoreum, it gives a light, non-offensive urinous touch reminiscent of tanned leather. Don’t be alarmed by that, because exquisite flowers, especially rose, soften it and make it more approachable. It has an endless array of notes that, though subtle, give the fragrance a rounded and complete character. Without a doubt, one of the best leather scents you can smell today. A true marvel. Cheers.
