Picture a fine Cuban cigar, just the dry leaf, a hint of honey, and wafting it under your nose: aromatic tobacco mixed with a potent sweetness. Just 3 sprays last all day with strong projection. It stands out more in the cold; in heat, a single dose is enough. For those who know the Piel Roja cigarette, it smells identical, just with a touch of sweetness. Absolute delight.

  • I bought it blind and was doubtful at first, but now I see it as a steal. It smells of honey, very sweet, but the tobacco balances it out; I remember throwing away The Most Wanted because it was too cloying. It lasts forever and projects well. If you can find it cheap, give it a try. I love Dior, and since Tobacolor isn’t available here, this was my alternative.

  • I bought it blind and was surprised. At first, it smells sweet (you can tell the honey), then the tobacco appears (not invasive) and some sweet oriental notes. I recommend it for cold weather and night. Lasts about 6 hours, projects for 1-2 hours, perfect for dates or hanging out with friends. If you like sweet perfumes but not too common ones, it’s a good option.

  • Tabac by Maison Alhambra: They no longer sell it under the original name due to the lawsuit against Dior; it’s now called ‘Smokey’ by the same brand. It’s a brutal clone of Dior’s Tobacolor. While the honey suggests sweetness, it’s not cloying; it’s warm, luxurious, with amber tobacco and smoke that adds an extravagant touch. Perfect for winter, 100% nightwear, and classy. A must-have in your collection. Scent: 10. Projection: 2h. Longevity: 6-7h. Recommended.

  • I bought it blind and was surprised by the first impression: a sweet opening (honey), followed by tobacco (not intrusive) and sweet oriental notes. I recommend it for cold weather and night. Lasts 6h, projects for 1-2h. Perfect for dates or hanging out with friends. If you like sweet perfumes but not the common ones, this is your option.

  • It smells weird at first, something smoky and not very sweet. Then the plum comes out, along with the peach and honey, and it becomes very sweet, with that bitter tobacco at the bottom. It leaves a well-rounded scent.

  • Does anyone recognize the French Avenue Purple Cocoa? I just bought the Cocoa one, and this one comes to mind. Based on the notes, I don’t think they match at all.

It’s delicious from start to finish. Smells like tobacco and honey with a touch of peach. I don’t notice anything weird. The first time I used it, it lasted about 6 hours, but given the price, I don’t mind reapplying. I think it smells better in the cold. It’s not loud, more intimate, but for me, it’s a 10/10.

  • BassoProfumo

Honestly, it smells like an 80s women’s perfume. No criticism, just describing how it feels to me.

  • I’m selling or swapping it; I’ve only sprayed it once. I don’t like the honey and licorice blend. I live in Seville, call 667353315.

  • A famous budget alternative to the pricey Dior Tobacolor. If you’re looking for something intense and warm, it’s worth it. It’s sweet tobacco, fruity, and honeyed. It opens with plum and peach, then moves to pipe tobacco and honey (here, the honey is more pronounced than in Dior). When it dries down, it reminds me of A*Men but with more tobacco. It doesn’t compete in quality with the original, but it’s a great approximation for the price. Ideal for cold weather and nights, dates, or going out. Lasts 6-8h and projects strongly at first. A very personality-driven perfume for little money.

  • It’s the cheap alternative to Dior’s Tobacolor. If you want something intense and warm, it’s worth it. Smells like sweet, fruity, and honeyed tobacco. Starts with plum and peach, then comes in with fine pipe tobacco and honey. Note that the honey is stronger here than in the Dior. As it dries down, it reminds me a bit of Mugler’s A*Men but with more tobacco. You can’t compare the quality to the original given the price, but it smells very similar. It’s for cold weather and night, perfect for dates. Lasts 6-8 hours and projects a lot at the start. It’s a sweet, powerful tobacco scent with great personality for very little money.

It’s basically French Avenue’s Purple Cocoa but swapping the oud for pipe tobacco. If you’re a smoker, you’ll love it because the burnt tobacco dominates the scent. It smells sweet at first and smoky at the end. Lasts quite a while on skin and even longer on clothes. Don’t buy it blind, though, as sensitive noses might find it irritating. Perfect for cold days.

  • Honestly, it caught me off guard in the best way possible. The first thing you smell is a very dense honey with plum, and the tobacco is barely noticeable at first.
