I regret this blind buy. It doesn’t smell bad, but the price doesn’t match what it is. Even though it’s on sale, paying €60 for an upgraded supermarket cologne is unfair. On my skin, it opens with bergamot, then more bergamot and neroli with a touch of orange blossom; the jasmine never appears. It fades in 2-3 hours leaving a musky base with bergamot lingering at the end. From minute 15, it’s skin scent. It’s not unpleasant, it’s fresh with something innocent and slightly childish. If I had small kids, I’d put a few drops of Sweet Dreams on their pillow to help them sleep. Since I don’t, I use it after a summer shower. The bad part is that every time I wear it, I feel that pain of a euro per milliliter.
One of my worst blind buys. It’s not that I dislike it or can’t wear it, but the price doesn’t match what it offers. Even though I grabbed it on sale, 60 euros for 60 ml of an improved version of a supermarket fresh cologne… On my skin, it opens with bergamot. Then, more bergamot, neroli, and a hint of orange blossom; the jasmine never shows up. It fades in about 2-3 hours to a musky base with bergamot lingering at the bottom. From minute 15, it’s skin scent. Is it unpleasant? No. It’s a fresh cologne with something innocent and childish. If I had young kids, I’d put a few drops of Sweet Dreams on their pillow. Since I don’t, I use it after a shower in summer. The bad part is that every time I wear it, I feel that sting of an euro per milliliter.
Mr. Wasser’s Sniffer Perfume: very simple, citrus and white florals, but that’s its charm. I noticed it in the store but didn’t see it as a must-have. Outdoors, over time, soft bursts emerged that won me over. Unisex on my skin, it lasts well but has low projection; perfect for heat and more suited for day than night. For me, a solid 9.
A Mr. Wasser nose perfume… very simple, citrus and white florals, but within that simplicity lies its charm. When they applied it to me in the store, it caught my attention, but it didn’t feel like a ‘must’. Walking out and as hours passed, I started getting very soft bursts of this fragrance… honestly, I fell in love. A unisex scent on my skin with good longevity, though low projection; perfect for hot seasons, and more for day than night. For me, a solid 9.
