  Too bad there aren’t more comments… especially since Star Dust Midnight is an absolute masterpiece and I love reading reviews. I stumbled upon it by chance: a trusted importer pulled it out of nowhere, and since few people know the Lolita Lempicka line well (just the original L, Coral Flower, and Au Masculin), no one could pass up the deal. It’s a descendant of the original but very different: the anise is no longer starry but spicier and balsamic, asking for a delicate application; the licorice is more controlled, reducing the original’s sweetness; the violets are deeper and powdery; the vanilla is boosted and takes center stage in the dry down… and the best part: the ivy has never been this strong. Plus, it shifts the vibe entirely: while the original evoked nature’s protective fairies with legendary charms, Star Dust Midnight is the new moon’s warrior fairies who punish earthly irreverence, swapping seduction for untamed ferocity. The charm remains, but it shines differently. Longevity and projection crush the original, lasting over 14 hours on me: five hours of unstoppable trail before settling into a slow, lingering rhythm. It’s much more woody and conveys the power of fairy magic, not just their illusory allure. I’m completely fascinated and it just dethroned the original as my favorite. Though I think I’ll get another bottle because it’ll be impossible to find once this one runs out (and what a beautiful bottle it is).
