  • Great to see the brand returning to its old ways with the Midnight editions; all those old bottles are collection-worthy. For many years, it was my favorite fragrance; it works wonders on my skin. Unfortunately, after 2017, many perfumes were lost when they switched to vegan formulas (which I applaud), but I feel some of that old magic was lost. Luckily, they realized their mistake and relaunched the original bottle (though Mon Premier wasn’t ugly), but nothing compares to this beauty. The reformulation wasn’t bad, but it gave too much prominence to the cherry and lowered the depth of that wonderful accord between licorice, grass, and violet. To be honest, it reminded me of the original but seemed more like a flanker of Petite Robe Noir. I haven’t tried the previous version of this Le Parfum yet; this is the third time Annick Menardo has returned to the house to try and replicate that 1997 beauty, one of her most legendary creations. I hope to try the new Le Parfum someday to compare and see if they found a formula that faithfully recreates the classic; I’d be happier with this edition and seeing them return to their old ways, releasing a new bottle each year to honor one of my all-time favorite fragrances.

  • 🤯 A total gem. The opening is a potent mix of ivy, tonka bean, iris, and licorice; it smells like a mysterious, nocturnal garden full of vines. Over time, the classic cherry touch typical of Lolita Lempicka emerges, but the green notes remain. What I notice most is a spicy, sweet, green, musky, and aromatic aroma (I wouldn’t list vanilla at the start because it can be confusing; I’d place it later). At the end, iris and violets make their appearance. It lasts a long time, is intense, and has amazing sillage.

  • 🤯🤯 A total gem🖤🌿🌌🌌🌌 The opening smells incredibly strong of ivy mixed with tonka bean, iris, and licorice. It’s like a mysterious, nocturnal garden filled with vines on a dark night🌒 As time passes, the classic cherry touch typical of Lolita Lempicka emerges, without losing those green opening notes🌿 What I feel most is a soft, spicy, sweet, green, musky, and aromatic vibe (I wouldn’t list vanilla as a top note because it can be confusing; I’d place it seventh). Towards the end, iris and violets make an appearance. It lasts quite a while, is intense, doesn’t fade quickly, and has great sillage.

  • A magical, nocturnal, and nostalgic Lolita Lempicka. Smells like wet earth with a touch of sweetness, minus the cherry note I don’t like in newer versions. This limited edition is hard to find and smells very similar to Fleur Defendue (just less sweet), which was my favorite. Today, it’s my new forbidden fruit thanks to its scent and longevity. I bought it blind and it was a total hit; I’m a fan of the brand, and the notes hinted it would be greener than others. And let’s not forget the bottle is a beauty I want to keep forever.
