  1. First, the name sounds great, but it doesn’t quite fit because this perfume isn’t a static snapshot—it doesn’t reveal everything at once. It’s not easy to wear, so if you’re looking for something safe and commercial, skip it. The opening is a smile-inducer: spicy and clearly winter-themed, like strolling through a Christmas market. What really surprises me are the strange floral notes—slightly sharp, peppery, with an oriental twist and a hint of alcohol, like a fragrant flower floating in a glass of liquor. You’ll probably get used to it quickly, but then the woody and resinous notes take over, and that’s where it gets tricky; about 30 minutes in, it smells like weird curry, as if someone removed the sugar from a spice blend and added cloves, flowers, and cinnamon. Once you pass that phase, it becomes very resinous, and that’s when you decide whether to keep it or not. This lasts for hours until the scent softens; eventually, patchouli and tonka bean take the lead, and the mood lifts. The final trail of Selfie on my skin lasts about 6-7 hours—more than enough for a long night. It’s an interesting and uncommon fragrance.
