Reading ‘Sand Service’ made me think of something salty and marine, but upon application, it’s a creamy sandalwood with green notes, not old wood. Cardamomo and violet leaves add a luminous green touch. Papyrus and iris root cleanse it up without stripping away that creaminess that keeps it alive. It’s a return to sandalwood reminiscent of #33, but with less longevity and projection; for that, I’d recommend Bharara’s Viking Kashmir, which is just as green and creamy, cheaper, and lasts longer.
