  I want to recommend a very well-crafted and interesting fragrance in its evolution. I try to be impartial, as I love this house and see great artistic potential in every line. In short: opening with strong eucalyptus notes and very camphoraceous, but nothing out of control, since these notes are wrapped in amber notes (Styrax). Very intense first phase that emulates aromas typical of South American forests. As it dries, you encounter very noble woody notes that provide a less volatile base than the initial ones. These notes are well-known, yet they captivate with their versatile development. Sandalwood and incense that harmonize beautifully. I’ll just stop at the animal castoreum note… very present and integrates perfectly with the rest. At some point, a patchouli enters, which I can’t quite perceive, possibly adding some sweetness to the woody edges. A very artistic and intense fragrance, for an audience that understands the concept of complex woody bases. Woody, camphoraceous, and animalic… that defines SALTUS. Not for everyone… for a well-open-minded audience… if you meet those requirements, this fragrance can become a beautiful addiction. Cheers, Perfumado’s

  I was expecting something with eucalyptus and incense for my collection, but in the end, it smells more like cat urine (I guess it’s the castoreum). Don’t buy it blind. Update: I smelled it again and now I remember what it smells like—it literally smells like Poxipol.
