  Starting with the presentation, it’s flawless and well-packaged. The scent gives me distinct sensations, inexplicably featuring notes not listed on the card. It’s very formal and woody. The opening is powerful and zooms in on the cedar: clean, earthy, and spectacular, with a soft incense, a touch of oud, and patchouli well below. That citrusy touch I’m noticing is confusing me; maybe it’s the hyssop, which I don’t know well. As it dries, the rose, coriander, castoreum, and musk come out, balancing the scent greatly. As I said, the oud takes the lead; the base is wood with a hint of smoke, adorned and sweetened by amber. It’s bright, powerful but not invasive, elegant, and formal. Highly recommended for formal and semi-formal occasions. You can appreciate the quality and depth once you’re over 25. Scent 9/10, Sillage 8.5/10, Projection 8/10, Longevity 8/10. Excellent and recommended.

  It opens with a soapy incense that sounds sharp, elegant, and formal. As it dries, it turns woody, earthy, and green, with the rose popping up occasionally. For me, what stands out most is that soft incense (nothing liturgical), quite a bit of patchouli, a robust cedar, and a fleeting rose. I’m not sure what note gives it that soapy vibe. I’m a fan of incense, but this isn’t one of my favorites; I prefer the gourmand style, like Osang from Menditorrosa or Mystic Incense from The Merchant of Venice. This is clearly a dry, elegant, mature, and formal incense, leaning masculine to my taste.

  I’m totally sold on this one; it smells super elegant and is clearly unisex. The only thing missing was a bit more of a punch, but hey, these are just first impressions, so don’t take it too seriously 😉
