  • So delicious! On my skin, it smells like a vanilla cream ice palette topped with orange—basically pure curaçao, vanilla, and bergamot. I hope you try it on your skin because it smells different on paper. The downside is it doesn’t last long and isn’t very noticeable.

  • A different perfume, a modern aroma in the style of Mugler’s Womanity. Quite sweet and it highlights the curaçao liqueur, vanilla, and musk.

  • A different perfume, a fairly modern aroma, similar to Thierry Mugler’s Womanity. Quite sweet and highlights the curaçao liquor scent mainly, along with vanilla and musk.

  • This perfume smells like oranges with cinnamon to me. I know it’s not on the list, but I can definitely smell the cinnamon. It’s really pleasant and refreshing, but it lasts on my skin for about two hours. The bottle is amazing!

I didn’t smell any flowers… if they’re there, they’re just enhancing the delicious, fragrant sour orange base with boozy tinctures and creamy vanilla. I don’t detect musk on my skin either. Yes, it smells good, makes your mouth water, and has a great vibe. I lean toward Paulina’s review: curaçao, vanilla, and bergamot. Citrus-Gourmand is a very appropriate classification.

To me, it smells super fruity on my skin and cloyingly sweet. I also detect vanilla, but it smells artificial; I don’t like it at all. After four hours, it softens a bit, but very little.

  • In my opinion, it smells like fruits but very heavy and cheap, with poor longevity and a strange scent. They compare it to Womanity, but there’s nothing alike; that one is a classy perfume.

I find it very fruity and sweet; the vanilla is also cloying. On my skin, it feels artificial—I don’t like it at all… after four hours it softens a bit, but very little.

  • I was super traumatized trying the ‘Beyoncé Heat’; it was horrible. Now that I see this one has curaçao as a note, phew, I think I’ll never try another Beyoncé perfume again. I’m saying this without any intention to offend, but it’s my opinion.

  • Exactly. The bottle and box are pretty, but nowadays perfumes are just water with a scent. If you want something good, it costs many dollars. Sometimes they just sell brands; it’s not worth it compared to the competition. I have $3,000 worth of perfumes, and most are just pretty boxes and hype. This Beyoncé Pulse is another pretty bottle—it smells like cheap perfume.

  • Oh Beyoncé… I was hoping for something decent. Not all artist perfumes are bad—I’ve tried several, and none of them seemed good. Her sweet fragrances are cloying, or this one smells like cheap supermarket cologne. I don’t know what to say positively. No, no, and no. Her perfumes are just as bad as Solange’s fight with Jay Z.

  • Oh, Beyoncé… I expected something decent. Not all artist perfumes are bad; I’ve checked several and none seemed decent. Her sweet, cloying perfumes or this one that smells like cheap supermarket body spray (and a bad brand). I don’t know what positive argument to give. No, no, and no; her perfumes are as bad as the Solange vs. Jay Z fight.

  • So good! At first, it smells like super intense sweet mandarin or orange, I think it’s bergamot. Then comes the vanilla with liquor, probably curaçao. It lasts all day on clothes; I put it on in the morning and can still smell it at night.

  • All of Beyoncé’s perfumes please me at first, but then they have a final note that doesn’t quite convince me. I had this Pulse, and for me, the sweet gourmand touch is too much; I really like the opening of pear blossom and citrus, but then comes the jammy cloy that made me shelve this scent for cold weather. By the way, on my skin the scent lasted about a flower’s worth of time.

  • I bought this for the citrus and gourmand vibe, like a lemon foot, but then it disappointed me: the citrus fades and it’s left with dense, graceless vanilla and wood. I wouldn’t buy it again; Beyoncé and her commercial perfumes just don’t work for me.

  • I like the opening, which is why I bought it; I liked that citrus and gourmand mix, like a foot of lemon, at first. But then it disappoints: the citrus fades and leaves vanilla with wood, dense and unappealing. I really wouldn’t buy it again; Beyoncé and her commercial perfumes don’t convince me.

I tried it and it’s very fresh, especially for summer. To me, it smells totally like pear, very pleasant and delicious. The longevity and sillage are low, but at least it smells good.

  • I had it and it’s very fresh, especially for summer. To me, the perfume smells totally of pear, which I find very pleasant and delicious. The longevity and sillage are very low, but at least it smells good.

  • I tested this perfume in the store a long time ago and couldn’t find any sweetness in it. Not even remotely pleasant… I tested it on my hand and had to wash it off because I disliked it every time I smelled it.

  • I like it; it smells good. It reminds me of Smiley, but this one is sweeter while Smiley is more citrusy and floral, I suppose because of the curaçao and combined citrus. It opens with citrus and settles down, giving way to sweetened curaçao with vanilla without overshadowing the citrus tone; in the dry down, you can notice the flowers that tie the fragrance together. It seems original, outside the typical celebrity fruity candies. The only reproach is the longevity and sillage, which are acceptable for the price. If you like the scent, it’s not painful to replicate it. Suitable for daytime, office, or university. I don’t think perfumes have an age, but this one is for a wide range. I’d use it in any season, though due to its refreshing sweetness, I love it for spring and summer.

I had it as a body lotion with shimmer and it smelled very much of curaçao with citrus, with a masculine but unisex touch.

  • So delicious! It’s summery and transports me to a party on a terrace with a sea view. It must be the curaçao; it smells like a delicious cocktail. You can carry the little bottle in your bag to reapply. It lasts three hours on my skin and I love it for daytime hours.

  • So delicious! It smells like summer and transports me to a rooftop party with a sea view. It must be the curaçao, like a delicious cocktail. I keep the bottle in my bag to reapply; it lasts three hours on the skin and is perfect for daytime.

  • NatalyCat

Personally, it overwhelms me. The curaçao on my skin dominates too much and cancels out everything else. I recommend testing it on skin before buying; it’s a very particular note. I see it more as a fragrance for teens with that sweet tropical vibe.

  • Fresh for summer, cheerful, and energizing. The longevity is low, but the price makes up for it, and what dominates is the citrus.

  • LosPerfumesDeJavi

Launched in 2011 by the Queen of Pop and R&B, I bought it blindly based on the notes and I’m not regretting it. It’s tropical, unisex, and its star is curaçao with an orange aroma 🍊, accompanied by bergamot, vanilla, pear blossom, musk, woods, jasmine, peony, and orchid. It smells delicious; the citrus notes feel natural on the nose, nothing like the typical ‘cheap’ celebrity scent. A delight worth every euro. I use it at night in the summer; it lasts about 4 hours but leaves a trail.
