I’m not a fan of reggaeton—in fact, I hate it—so when the salesperson offered me a sample, I tried to back out, but eventually gave in. First off, the bottle is beautifully crafted. Second, I wish it wasn’t by a reggaeton artist, because the green one I liked quite a bit. If I had to draw a parallel, I’d say it’s a lighter, more refined version of Issey Miyake’s ‘Nuit D’Issey’; honestly, I don’t buy the ‘Aromatic Fougere’ classification—it feels more woody to me. Maybe it’s just my style that caught my attention, or perhaps it’s genuinely great. It’s marketed toward a younger crowd, but without trying too hard, it’s incredibly versatile (perfect for ages 15 to 45). P.S.: It’s ‘very commercial’ and nothing original, but like Antonio Banderas’ ‘The Golden Secret’ or Paris Hilton’s ‘Just Me for Man’, it’s one of the few celebrity fragrances that has actually delivered.
