Finally got mine, what a wonder! It’s curious that when I tested it before, I didn’t notice the oud as much, but the box comes with a real piece of wood that smells exactly the same. Another little story: at first, I was more drawn to Sahraa Oud from the same brand, but over time, I ended up favoring this sample; I felt it was more versatile, wearable, and pleasant, to the point that I finished it without even realizing. I use it and it’s neither fresh nor warm; it works for any occasion. It smells peculiar: citrusy, resinous, and incense-like without that churchy vibe. The oud ties everything together into a sublime scent. It’s not heavy, it works in summer, not sharp or ethereal, just there. The downside is it doesn’t last long, about 7 hours. My skin eats up perfumes, so it’s unisex. Hope this helps!
I bought a 2.5 ml sample to really get a sense of it. Honestly, it’s divine—the most elegant blue I’ve ever tried—but unfortunately, it fades on my skin in about an hour. If it lasted longer, I’d buy it, but given how it interacts with my skin, it’s not worth even half the price.

Super versatile, exquisite, and long-lasting oud fragrance. It’s pricey, but totally worth it for the quality, versatility, and uniqueness. Plus, it smells incredibly unique!

Sacre Bleu! Right out of the bottle, you get cardamom and orange, but nothing intense, citrusy, or gourmand—everything is very soft over a woody, inoffensive oud with an aquatic tone. Unisex-leaning masculine, linear, with modest performance (longevity outlasts projection) and very versatile. The flaw? $415 for 50 ml. The price is absurd for something that offers nothing; one of the most boring and mediocre offerings from the brand. The oud from Fragrance du Bois is sustainable but lacks real quality. Plus, they copy Creed and Tom Ford, and please, don’t tell me about the Demi Rawling collaboration. The box is all bling bling—gold, crystals, black velvet, just like Tiziana Terenzi. The presentation is top-notch and that’s where you pay more; it’s marketing, but the content is way below par (with exceptions like Sahraa). Any fresh perfume from Parfums de Marly, Creed, or Xerjoff makes pomade look like Oud Bleu Intense.
This is another level! I got a decant when I bought Minuit et Demi and, at first, with my nose saturated from the store, I didn’t get it. But the second time I wore it, it was masterful! What quality and ingredient balance. This house keeps surprising me; Oud Bleu Intense has everything you’re looking for: quality, longevity, projection, sillage, versatility, and compliments that boost your ego. I didn’t hesitate for a second to spend half my paycheck on the full bottle. Of all my fragrances, it has the most quality and versatility at the same time. In my opinion, it’s the best I’ve heard in perfumery, right up there with Oud Maracujá.
