  A scent for tough guys, there’s no other way to put it. Robust, imposing, and confident, it’s the exact representation of a guy in jeans and a leather jacket who always does what he thinks he should. It’s the antithesis of sophistication and subtlety: an aromatic explosion of leather, woods, vetiver, and patchouli with a slightly sweet touch. Launched in 1976, it was one of the pioneers of the 80s school, where it had its best days. Now it’s relegated to supermarkets (in Spain, by the way, you can’t find it), at laughable prices for what it offers. Its mix of masculinity and sexuality, with very high projection and longevity that lasts all day, makes it a classic, essential for lovers of powerhouses without complexes. Rating: 8/10

  Walking into a perfumery and seeing hundreds of men’s fragrances, but the truly iconic ones are the ones that stand out. We’re talking scents that teleport you back in time… Excellent fragrances with notable longevity. Original Denim is one of those, but… if you have a sensitive nose, better skip it. If the thought of smelling ‘old’ scares you, forget it. I’ve been remembering this men’s perfume brand for years; back in the 80s, you could easily spot a Denim product on every bathroom shelf. A true pure essence, old-school style, concentrated in a bottle with highly addictive contents, offering top-notch quality for such an affordable price. Think of it as the perfume for Charles Bronson or Clint Eastwood. If you know someone (dad, boyfriend, husband, son, friend) who looks like Tarzan’s heir, passionate about vintage perfumes, old-school style, and very particular, this is the best gift for him. A virile, masculine, uncompromising scent, perfect for a dynamic, slightly rough man who loves life and its pleasures, especially carnal ones. Smells like fast, passionate sex in the car, open shirts, chest hair, tight jeans. Green, herbaceous, earthy, woody, a bit aggressive but ready to use at the office to sensually stun your coworkers who will look at you with pleased eyes while biting their pencils. A classic DNA crossed with a 70s PowerHouse. What a world it would be if moms, aunts, and grandmas bought for their grandkids, nephews, and sons instead of Bruno Banani or YSL Le Male again… Denim Original.
