I got Noir by Adnan B. on a friend’s recommendation as an Aventus alternative. Given the price and the suggestion, I bought it, and the first whiff surprised me with its quality, beating out clones like Unpredictable Adventure or AB Silver Spirit. Does it smell as much like Aventus? Not really—it’s missing the signature pineapple from Creed. For me, it leans more toward Mancera Cedrat Boise, sharing bergamot, blackcurrants, fruit, patchouli, and vanilla. It has a lighter texture and lower performance than Cedrat Boise. Overall, it smells fantastic, evokes an expensive fragrance, with decent longevity (over 7-8 hours) and moderate projection. Great for gifting or smelling good without ‘breaking the piggy bank’.
A friend recommended this Noir by Adnan B. as an alternative to Creed Aventus, and after trying it, I was surprised by the quality—it even outperforms clones like Unpredictable Adventure or AB Silver Spirit. It doesn’t smell exactly like the original Aventus since it lacks the pineapple, but it strongly reminds me of Mancera Cedrat Boise: they share bergamot, blackcurrants, fruity notes, patchouli, and vanilla, though this one has less depth and longevity, lasting about 7-8 hours with moderate projection. It’s an excellent fragrance to enjoy a luxurious vibe without breaking the bank, perfect for gifting or smelling great without ‘breaking the piggy bank’.
It’s a masterpiece, a formidable fragrance. It’s the evolution you’ve been looking for: the black sheep of Creed Aventus or Club de Nuit. It has millimetric hints of amber, oud, rose, and patchouli that give it this balsamic, powerful evolution. It’s all about amber, smoky, creamy, woody, and elegant. The oud is very soft, creamy, adding a lot of sensuality, while the rose note adds class. At first, it leans toward the Aventus vibe, but that lasts only a few seconds before revealing its true beauty. I don’t know what else to say, I loved it; it’s exactly what I was looking for. The longevity is the best in my collection, and the sillage on skin and clothes is amazing—in fact, the clothes still smell very noticeable. 9.5/10 for longevity, 9.5 recommended, 100% recommended. The Creed DNA is present all day, just like Mugler’s flankers. It’s like taking Creed Aventus and adding tiny hints of patchouli, rose, amber, and oud; it might start sounding like Aventus, but within minutes, it shows its hidden power. It’s an EDT that feels like an EDP; its quality is an example that many mass-market brands should follow, especially since they no longer have any longevity and just rely on good marketing.
