  • In the Lattafa Niche Emarati line, there are more complex and higher-quality scents. Antique is a benchmark: sublime presentation, a bottle worthy of a museum, and exquisite fragrance. Inspired by BDK’s Gris Charnel, it makes it perfect at a very low cost. Excellent performance in projection and longevity. Seems undervalued; it’s a gem. An exotic and seductive combination of sandalwood, fig, vetiver, and iris. It exudes elegance and sophistication. Solid recommendation for anyone looking for something special.

The best alternative to BDK Gris Charnel EDP I know (tested side by side). The other Lattafa has style but doesn’t match the quality or performance. Here you find tea, iris, fig, a fleeting hint of coconut, then a pleasant sweetness, sandalwood, musk, and vetiver. Original aroma, masculine unisex, semi-formal, with a youthful vibe. Projection and longevity are correct. The only difference is greater sweetness and that initial coconut, which makes you wonder why pay for the expensive niche version. One of the best from Lattafa Niche, inexplicably without hype. Try it, take advantage of the price and luxury presentation.

My first Arabic fragrance and what a great way to start. Very beautiful aroma: coconut and iris are the stars, followed by black tea and jasmine at the beginning. The dry down is marvelous: elegant iris, oriental sandalwood, and powdery coconut. Totally unisex.

  • I bought the sample and ended up with the full bottle. It’s a masterpiece: a lightly sweet and spiced woodsy scent. Different from BDK Gris Charnel due to the caramel and milk with coconut; here it’s cooler and more masculine thanks to the earthy iris, yet more charming and feminine. I’m a classic lover of sweet aromatics and can’t stand dry scents that smell like Axe body spray. I struggle with fig, but here it’s enigmatic and sweet with the milk. Fresh dry down for summer; the vetiver with black tea is gorgeous and deep. 10/10.

  • I bought the sample and ended up with the full size. It’s a masterpiece: a slightly sweet and spicy woody scent. The key difference from BDK Gris Charnel is that caramel and milk-coco sweetness. To me, the original feels colder and more masculine due to its earthy iris, but this version is more charming and feminine without being exclusive; it’s very unisex. As a classic wearer, I only use aromatic scents if they’re sweet, because herbal or rooty ones smell like Axe to me. I struggle with the fig note, but here it’s enigmatic and sweet with the milk. The drydown is fresh, perfect for summer, and the vetiver with black tea is gorgeous, adding a depth I love. 10/10

  • It brings to mind a tranquil lake surrounded by fig trees and tea. That aquatic and vegetal freshness makes Antique stand out from the very first spray. Sometimes a soft jasmine emerges, making me close my eyes. It’s a perfect balance between aquatic, floral, and tropical coconut. Fresh and luminous, yet deep enough for all seasons. It smells amazing, lasts over 12 hours, and calms the soul. A total surprise; I recommend it for any season.

  • A true classic where iris, my favorite note, takes center stage. It opens with fig, tea, and cardamomo, delivering a spiced freshness and a creamy touch from that milky note. The dry down features soft sandalwood and a powdery musk, everything feeling incredibly clean and comforting. Perfect for chilly days paired with a raw wool sweater; it can get a bit cloying in the heat.
