  To start, I’ll confess I’m not a fan of musks, especially animalic ones, which usually turn me off, but I’m not sure if it’s my nose or if I’m just maturing, because this perfume is pure, hard-core musk and I absolutely love it. From the very first moment, it smells of musk and rose, the undisputed kings. It’s a sweet, clean, creamy, soft, and velvety musk with exquisite resinous and vanilla nuances. Plus, in the opening, I sense a more woody and sweet tone with a tiny smoky touch that I adore. Then that smoke fades, and the woods become creamier, like sandalwood with hints of oud and a bit of rose, all creamy and sweet, with that initial velvety musk and a slight spicy undertone at the base, absolutely hypnotizing. As it dries down, the musk intensifies but keeps that woody, vanilla, warm, resinous, creamy, sweet, and velvety tone that has completely won me over. It’s a musk perfume with oriental tints, truly beautiful. I know I keep repeating adjectives, but that’s how I feel. The scent is totally unisex with excellent performance; it lasts over 10 hours, with a very noticeable sillage at first that drops to moderate and then to skin-level progressively. I’ve worn it almost my whole life, which is uncommon. It’s best for cold and temperate climates, suitable for daytime use, though it doesn’t scream night to me, but it works perfectly for that, in fact, I will wear it, perhaps because of its clean musky aroma that reminds me of crisp winter mornings. As it’s subjective, wear it to your own taste. If you love velvety musks with sweet and woody touches, I recommend it with my eyes closed; it’s a steal. For those who don’t like musk, stay away, you’ll hate it, though trying it won’t hurt and maybe it will conquer you just like it did for me.
