Starts strong with a citrus that feels more like bergamot than the promised Amalfi lemon; soft lavender and other herbs. The floral phase is very subtle but lovely, with the citrus lingering in the background. The dry down is musky and amber, warm yet not sweet. A great fragrance from the early 90s, in the style of Salvador Dali (1992), with amazing longevity (over 12 hours) and moderate to strong sillage. Ideal for men with classic tastes for formal occasions. Downside: seems discontinued (I tested it in a decant).
Opens strong with citrus notes that sound more like bergamot to me than the promised Amalfi lemon. Soft lavender blends with other herbs. The floral phase is very subtle, but no less charming, and the citrus remains in the background. The dry down is musky and amber, warm but not sweet. A true 90s classic, in the style of Salvador Dali (1992, which I reviewed), with top-tier longevity (over 12 hours) and moderate to heavy sillage (without being overwhelming; the projection was excellent). Perfect for men with classic tastes for formal day wear. The only downside: appears discontinued (I tested it in a decant).
