I tried it in the brand’s Exploration Kit and it surprised me a lot, it’s a totally clean, sweet skin scent. It smells like powdered marshmallow, lactonic and very musky. Milk Expressive emphasizes the smoky wood touch more, but they are quite similar. I think it’s a perfect fragrance for when you want to feel clean and don’t want anything complicated. It’s special.

In this milk version I feel the marshmallow and milk the most, but it’s not a super sweet marshmallow, it’s an airy, woody musky marshmallow with a very slight sweetness in the drydown. For lovers of gourmand, musky, woody scents you’ll like it. Like all fragrances in this range it is very sexy and cozy.

  3. I love Milk and Milk+. Expressive bothers me. Milk- is underrated. For me it’s the sweetest of the three. It gives me a creamy marshmallow skin musk scent. Milky scents can get disgusting, so I appreciate this soft and smooth version. Although this one stays closest to the skin, I still perceive a delicious scent cloud. As I suffer from anxiety, I’ve really enjoyed the calming aromatherapy effect this fragrance gives me. It’s so cozy and comforting. Plus, Milk is perfect for adding a sweet creaminess to other fragrances if you like layering. I love combining it with Kilian Princess.

  4. In the opening phase they smell a bit like sugar sweetness, condensed milk? It’s very sweet, caramelized, about to get better. Relatively quickly, dry woody notes come in. After about 2h, the scent transforms into a sweet, creamy, cinnamon wood. This is the moment I like the most. Close to the skin. Longevity approx. 4h.

  5. Milk- is impressively potent. A single spray lasts me all day, no matter what I do during the day: an intense workout is no match for Milk-. I think a lot of people will find Milk- seductive, but I’m not one of them. Milk- is excessively sweet and cloying, all toasted marshmallow and no milk or wood, and it fills the room with a sweet, sticky, burnt caramelized sugar cloud. I can’t make friends with it. That doesn’t mean I’ll stop trying, because I think once I find a perfect layering combination to pair it with, Milk will be lovely. So, should you try it? Yes, of course. Will you love it? Yes, if you like toasted marshmallows (and gourmand scents). No, if you’re looking for a milky scent. (If so, try Hot Milk by Hilde Soliani instead).

  6. I expected more milk and woods. On my skin, it’s just sugar (marshmallow I guess). And it’s not as soft as I expected from Personal scent. I’ll test it more to see what happens. EDIT: Now that I’ve examined the three versions more closely, I do notice the musk here. At least compared to the Expressive and Bold versions. Since marshmallow is much more present in Expressive and especially in the Bold version, I could say that in this version it’s where I notice the milk most. It’s a very warm milky musk. Very nice.

  7. I tried it in the discovery kit and it caught me off guard: it smells like freshly washed skin and total sweetness, like marshmallow with a dusting of powder, milky notes, and lots of musk. Milk Expressive adds a touch more smoky wood, but they’re very similar. It’s ideal when you want to feel clean without the fuss—a special fragrance.

In this milk version, I notice more marshmallow and milk, but it’s not an overly sweet scent; it’s a musky, airy, woody marshmallow with a very subtle sweetness as it dries down. Gourmand, musky, and woody lovers will adore it. Like the rest of the line, it’s very sexy and cozy.
