  I always thought Michael Jordan fragrances deserved more than just being ‘celebrity scents,’ so I was excited to see the whole line at a perfumerie in Barcelona. I was mesmerized by the refined sweetness of Legend, but in the end, I grabbed this one because I’d wanted it for ages. This is the quintessential fougère coupe, perfectly formulated. It’s a sporty cologne with an invigorating complexity built on three parameters: green and dry notes, a certain spicy edge, and a woody base. Naturally, it will appeal to fans of similar styles like Cacharel pour Homme, Massimo Dutti, Rasgo, etc. After all, its creator also made another pinnacle of the genre, Calvin Klein Escape. To sum up: Michael Jordan comes across as fresh, agile, masculine, and comforting. Notes of cypress and juniper, interwoven with sandalwood and spiced up, come together to create what I consider a unique aroma, with no aquatic or artificial notes whatsoever. It’s an Eau de Cologne concentration, the projection is on the discreet side, but the longevity is decent. Casual and carefree, it works just as well for working out as it does for wearing jeans and a tee after a good shower. The price is a steal. Totally recommended.

  I’d recommend it if you’re into the combo of dried leaves, lavender, and tea. Perfect for the gym while still smelling great. I wear it on summer nights and it lasts about 4 hours. The heart is spicy and the trail fades a bit, but it smells very good and casual. Bought it blind and no regrets; the only downside is it’s getting hard to find. Rating: 8/10.

  Snagged it on sale, but honestly, it was a 100% disappointment. Won’t be repurchasing; it doesn’t last on the skin at all and the scent just doesn’t work for me.
