I’ve had this perfume for a while and saved it for spring. The perfumer, who makes niche and almost artisanal scents, is going through a tough time and has dropped prices significantly. If you like to steer clear of artificial smells, give this a look. The first thing that stands out is the natural quality of the notes. Top: amber, cedar, green leaves, and honeysuckle. Heart: absolute jasmine, lily of the valley, and musk. Base: white flowers. On my skin, the longevity is medium, though I have very dry skin; it projects widely at first but dries down to a more discrete scent, perfect for spring and summer evenings, and can be worn elegantly during the day (I usually save the intense jasmine for night). It’s like a dance between honeysuckle and a green-tinted jasmine, sometimes one takes the lead and other times they blend together, with nuances from the other notes. A beautiful white floral fragrance.
